Last time I went yes you got hassled this time they were in my face, in my husbands face, touching us, pulling us, it was confronting. they would watch you say no to someone then attack you right after. It ruined bangla for me for sure. What was a fun, loud, drunk street is now confronting, sleezy and you can't... More

Wow! We had a great time during Songkran festival walking down Bangla road. It's something everyone should do (not if you have young kids) there's plenty of bars and restaurants all around this area as well. Be prepared to get wet. It's great fun to participate in the festivities.

Full stretch of pure fun, sleaze, sweat and chaos. With bars just beside and opposite to each other, mayhem of touters trying to vy for your money to spend 100 baht and above for their ridiculously cheap booze & ping-pong shows, it's crazy. But fun! Enjoy!

This road was fantastic, lots of pop up market type stalls with very low prices. You name the price and the sellers are happy to lower their price for you within reason. Lots of variety and friendly people. Make sure when buying clothing you check the quality of clothes before agreeing to a price as sometimes the clothes were a... More

I am seasoned traveler and love to see different cultures and experience local atmosphere, went to Bangkok for 4 days sightseeing, then to chill out in Phuket. I will never ever return to this immoral, seedy country again!! Every 50 mts there are massage parlours with young girls sitting outside touting for business,it's full of old blokes with young girls, I don't... More

About a 300 meter stretch of road packed with bars, bars and more bars, and more recently 'the selfie stick' every tourist has one. I first went to Bangla Road in Jan 2008, and the place was heaving! Not as busy this time of year, but still a fantastic atmosphere.

Its amazing experience to be at Bangla Walking Street in Patong. Its definitely a party hub of Asia. A caution of course if you are with family, then you can avoid visiting with kids. But if you are in Phuket and don't visit Bangla road, then your trip is incomplete.

We loved the colour and atmosphere along Bangla Rd, from the dancing girls ??? To the bikies to the overflowing bars and the spruikers enticing us into ping pong shows. We settled into a pole dancing bar and watched the freak show walk pass. We enjoyed the experience but it's not for the prudish.

We had some really good nights here. It would be so much better if you they all weren't trying to milk you out of your money thou especially when you are happy to spend money in first place

Happening street. Full of restaurants. Loud music is being played. People try to fleece you for various shows.
