A lot of work has been done since the tsunami with a lot of building work still going on that's why so many boats. The only good thing about phi phi is the night... More

A lovely place but due to its popularity it's very busy. Worth a visit of course but don't expect it to look like the pictures, expect the pictures with 30 boats in front of it

While many people choose to spend a few days on the islands, I would recommend it as a day tour. We did it in a private boat, which I would recommend again as it provides more flexibility to your schedule. Check out the caves, relax on the beaches, explore the markets, go snorkeling - all of this is possible in... More

Main beach on Phi Phi Don is for walking, not for swimming. Depth is about 30cm for 50 meters froam coast. Bedflor is solid dead coral. Water contains organic waste particals.
