I can't remember which tour I took. But I took the half day mangrove forest kayaking. It was quite cheap which only cause 250 baht per pax. Morning the van came over to pick us up at 830am and the trip took about 30-45mins to reach. The guide was really good! He is funny and friendly and he made the... More

We took a second half of the day tour. We drove from Aao Nang to Aao Thalane by road. We were welcomed with a hot cuppa. The instructor was warm and good at humor. We were instructed and left on our own to kayak through one of the most beautiful mangrove forests I have ever visited. The instructor followed us... More

I took half day kayaking morning until afternoon. The view was really amazing, beautiful and the weather was perfect. I did solo kayaking, and it was pretty hard to paddle when going back to the pier (against the current). The guide even offered me to sit at his kayak and tied my kayak to his if I am tired, but... A very scenic view with monkeys and mangrove. However it's better to do it with a partner as it was pretty tiring to solo by yourself.

I'll just say briefly that the kayaking was great, really enjoyed the experience of going through the mangroves and would do that again - 5 stars for that bit. Also that the guides we had were nice and friendly and help if you want a photo taken. But, and this is where my 'average' rating comes in, I think the... More

I am writing this while "enjoying" the barbecue dinner on the "beach". But let me start with the begining: - there was absolutely no introduction about the route, paddling, security, etc. Nothing. They just put us the paddles in our hands and told us to jump in the kayak. - there was low tide and we could not complete the... More

I'm not going to invest a lot of time with this review. I'm well traveled ( approaching 60 country's) and have experience on how tours should be run. Just reading though some of the comments below only verifies what I already know about this tour group. Yes, it's amazing part of the world and if you don't mind sharing it... More

It was my first time kayaking and I loved the scenery of the mangrove area at Thalane. Pity it rained but thankfully it was when we were on our way back to shore. Yo-yo (his glamour name), our guide was pleasant, helpful and informative.

I did the half day mangrove tour at high tide. I am an experienced kayaker. This is awesome and unusual scenery, and because of the high tide we were able to take beautiful routes leading through the canyons and winding through the mangrove. It's the only way you can see this scenery. BUT.... do not do this trip unless you... More
