We went around every day from Railay West, was the highlight of our stay. We loved getting coconut shakes from the little store on the way, as well as a bunch of bananas for the monkeys. More

This is the second time for me to visit this beach and the fertility shrine is a new addition! Besides that, it is still as beautiful as before. On a nice day, with calm waters you can enjoy, clear green waters and little bother from the local sellers on the beach. Try to go to Railay when its not the... More

One of the most beautiful beaches you will find. Unfortunately during the high season the tour companies do their best to exploit it's beauty. There is no end to boat trip tourists wandering up and down it's shores. The farther away you get from the cave side however, the more peaceful it gets. More

I first came to Ao Nang in May 2009 and it was a serene and peaceful experience. About three years later, however, things have greatly changed and not for the better. More bars and resorts have opened up and that means more people. I've have visited around low season, and so I don't even want to know what it's like... More

Loved it all!!!! We usually spent our time in the massage area where chairs were provided and cold drinks always available. The beach vendors were never pushy and would move along when you nodded "No" or smiled and shoke your head. Monkeys at the end of the beach were plentiful and entertaining!!!!! Great experience!!! The beach itself and the cave with the astonishing votives at the Buddish temple are beautiful per se, but they can get really crowded. Avoid peak seasons, it was hard to enjoy it when I visited it in January. More
