Ridiculous in every way: - There is nothing to see or do, just a few drugged tigers at the photo cage - Tigers seem very poor - "Tempale" is very filthy, poor maintenance - Way to expansive for Asian standards, waste of money!

I was offered to go when I was in Kanchanaburi. However, I did not go because I do not want to support animal torture. Whatever they are saying, this is not a shelter or sanctuary. Nor is the one in Chiang Mai. As long as tourists go here, they take part in the maltreatment of these wonderful creatures. For dutch... More

On my way to it always nice kanchanaburi I found this tiger temple or tiger dump I believe it's called. I went in with my kid who want to see the tiger and other animals. As my daughter is half Thai half Dutch she should go in as Thai people but the not educated and very unskilled labor couldn't believe... More

Amazing animals and all well cared for by the monks. Tigers are awesome creatures. Many photo ops. Walking with these majestic creatures was a major tick off my bucket list. To pat them and listen to them purr was wonderful. Very hot weather, bottled water is supplied. Wear pants and shirts that cover the shoulders as to not disrespect the... More

More than tigers here...bears and antelope type animals etc....the tigers were AMAZING...felt a little uneasy about them being chained up and some of them seemed sedated...BUT...one of the most amazing experiences of my life....I went in the tiger pit and had my pictures taken with the tigers, stroking some and sat next to others....the HEAT was the only downside...I'd have... We went even after reading some negative reviews and where so glad we did. If your really against animals in captivity then don't go, but if you accept a zoo etc then you will love this place. To get so close to the tigers and touch them was amazing. I personally don't think they where drugged just clearly domesticated as... More

One of the most over rated attractions I have ever been to. It's a dirty dusty place and after a long hike to the Tigers there was a long line to be allowed into see and be photographed with the tigers with a guide leading the way. The Tigers were laying on the ground chained and if they happened to... More

I took the morning visit and was picked up by my tour guide at 4:30, luckily my hotel had prepared a breakfast in a box for the ride (thanks Banyan Tree). The drive out went smoothly and we stopped to buy some food that would be given to the monks as a donation, it also went into a pile that... More

This area was not as described on website. Monks do not walk freely with the tigers and they do look like the tigers are drugged - very docile. Hope we contributed to feeding and looking after the animals as a few looked very skinny.
