we visited here with family. Pros: it was an amazing experience to hold and bottle feed a tiger cub and be so close to these beautiful animals. absolutely super and mind boggling watching the tigers play in the water with the handlers with nothing other than a stick with 6-7 large tigers... Cons: the locals are very rough to the... More

We spent 20 days in Asia and this was the highlight of our trip. We paid extra to feed the cubs and It was incredible. Don't think twice and do this tour.

This is a must see/do. Up close to beautiful tigers at a monk's temple. This is the complete contrast to Bangkok's hustle and bustle and dirty back streets. This was the highlight of my trip and a day I will never forget. You give you camera to one of the handlers and they take the most magnificent photos for you... More

The staff are rude and seemly uncaring about the tigers or tourists or anything having to do with the Tiger Temple. Essentially you are pulled around by the hand and told where to touch the tigers and someone else snaps your camera. You have about 5 seconds--literally from when you are told to sit or kneel and touch the tiger... More

I am a huge animal lover and after reading reviews, the last thing I wanted to do was support a place that harmed animals or treated them poorly. My animal lover friend went a few years prior and she assured me that she walked away feeling positive about this place. I have to agree with her. My husband and I... More

I went to visit the tempel because I read about it in a national geografic travel guide. The monks would raise baby tigers who's moms where killed by pochers… so it would actually be a sanctuary. But the kanchanaburi website recomands against going there because

We went to the Tiger Temple during our recent visit to Thailand. This by far was one attraction my five year of son STILL talks about. The tigers were awesome to see : and it truly truly was an experience of a lifetime to be with the tigers at such close quarters. The only 'negative' was how the locals acted.... More

We made the trip from Bangkok to get here, and visited a few other landmarks before getting to the temple in the afternoon. I had read many reviews and wanted to make up my own mind. The grounds are beautiful and we loved seeing the buffalo and deer in the wild. The first time I got to see the tigers... More

The trip to the tiger temple was just ace. Checked out the bridge over the river kwae for a bit on the trip including some on a boat, looked at the war museum and cemetary. Patted tigers which were cared for by the monks. The whole thing cannot be missed
