I visited the tiger temple with mixed feelings. The tigers don't seem to be openly mistreated but they are all on very short chain leashes and all incredibly docile. Tigers are dangerous wild animals. Is it right to break their wild nature and turn them in large domestic cats?

The place was memorable and being so close to those beasts was a thrilling and memorable experience.. The place felt like $$ rules. They made us take an entrance ticket of 600 baht for our Daughter who is just 9 months old and I had her on the baby carrier sling. Still they said she counted as one adult -... More

Not sure what I am saying very good to, as a lot of controvertial reviews have been written, but better to see Tigers in this context then to see them caged up in zoos. If the cost of visiting this place goes toward the good intention of creating a safe natural habitat away from the harm of evil poachers then... More

Visited here together with my wife and highly excited 8 year old. It is about a 2.5 hour ride from Bangkok in good traffic conditions and can take upto 4 hours in bad traffic. Recommend that you check exact timings and also that you hire an suv as opposed to a sedan for the distance. We had a good day... More

The morning tiger program was hands down one of the best things we will ever experience. I still do not understand how this is safe or legal, but we were able to be quite literally locked inside the tiger play yard with 15 cats who were 200+ pounds and given a stick with a toy tied to the end in... This is the only place I have been to that I will tell people to NEVER go to. I regret going there and wish I had of checked the reviews on TripAdvisor first. The only reason I didn't was because we were out that day and driving past and thought we'd pop in. The tigers here appear to be sedated!... More

Love the experience. The Tigers looked very healthy and happy, none looked drugged to me. All the animals running around looked extremely healthy and very calm and friendly. The staff seemed very knowledgeable and make sure you get plenty of photos. I went in June and it was well over 104 degrees, but I'm from South Texas so was use... More

This was a amazing day a must do.. There is 148 Tigers, they were born there that´s why they are so good with people (although they do say they have some Tigers that are not to the public as not people friendly), the first thing you think is they are drugged but for sure they are not, they are dusk...
