Took a guided tour - Tour with Tong - out of Bangkok that visited many sites, of which this was one. Given the fact the tour guide had visited the Tiger Temple many times, she knew exactly when to arrive so that we got the most out of our visit. Our arrival coincided with when the tigers were first let... More

Was very excited to get to tiger temple, it took us around 3 hours (we also passed floating market it was ok) but we arrived little late, all the tigers where resting not much fun plus they wanted us to pay extra to take the good pictures. Only certain times tiger will have different activities so must check their schedule... More

We arrived at the Tiger Temple at about 13:20, sadly the Tigers all looked drugged. The cost to have a photo taken was 1000 Bahts (£20), for this you had several photos taken using your camera by the keepers, you also received a DVD at the end. The sanctuary looked very tired and unkept. I certainly would not recommend or... More

As a dedicated Animal lover, I saw this place on television a few years ago. As a regular, adventure traveller, I researched this place thoroughly. I found out about a morning programme where tour company will pick you up in Bangkok very early. The tour is only Four people. I experienced interacting with the tigers. I witnessed the tigers full... More

The place is certainly overrated and doesn't live upto to expectations. The overall look and feel of this place gives an impression that it's not well kept. The place where the tigers are kept for interaction with visitors isn't that impressive. I am sure many visitors might feel a sense of guilt after visiting this place looking at the condition... It was very interesting to see the Tigers up close, something I have never experienced before. They are rather docile, so I assume they are given something to make them that way, but you would never get this close if they weren't. They are very strict about people being covered up, your shoulders and knees must be covered, or you... More

this place is just a waste of time and money, the tigers were drugged and we dont even take photos, cause i think tigers schould live in real nature jungle, not taking all day photos with the people, and doing shows. Also I were thinking that it was a temple were monks live with tigers but its just like zoo.We were in the... More

This trip is not to miss when u go to bangkok. It's amazing encounter with the tiger. But u must not wear any striking color like pink n red. Plus u have to wear sleeves and pants that is below the knee because it's run by monks. The nice n enjoyable part is u pet the tigers. The best part... More

I was very very apprehensive when I first saw the Tigers so calm and humble , I always knew that tigers are wild animals but then when the tiger temple volunteers took me among them , I was over thrilled , but still scared , I had seen pics of people being hurt by these tigers but eventually I started...
