We paid a short visit to the War Cemetery as a part of our Destination Asia day tour. It was well maintained and respectful to the soldiers killed in action. There were 3 (possibly 4) plaques with information about the cemetery which I found interesting to read, although I'm sure you could do your research before hand. What astounded me... More

The cemetery is a very solemn place, beatifully kept and presented. It brings home the real cost of war when you see line apon line of gravesites. It's hot in the open so wear a hat!

I loved to see the same consistent upkeep of the cemetary by the Commonwelath War Grave Commission, it was just the same as I have come to expect all over the world. Unfortunatley it would have been nice to have more interpretive information available for visitors.

Like all Commonwealth War Cemeteries - absolutely stunning. Don't go to Thailand without visiting and paying your respects.

Sad visit to cemetery, but also an eye opener to the numbers who died in the building of the Death Railway. Particularly if you are English, Australian or Dutch, which are the main nationalities buried there.

A place to sit and think about the lives that went before us and some in such tragic events it rained so visit was short. However still enjoyable.

To those that are interested this is well worth the trek, but plan and spend an hour as it will really make you step back and take a breath as you come to terms with the number of young soldiers that lost their lives in building this railway. Lest We Forget

Its very sad to see how young these soldiers were - they were very brave. The toilets here weren't that great!

This was the first time I had visited a war cemetary and it took my breath away. After being in Bangkok, the feeling and stillness within the cemetry was something I just wasn't expecting, it just hits you. Its been said hundreds of times before how sad it is to see rows and rows of graves and some of the... More
