Bridge is amazing considering the circumstances under which it was built. I thought it would be a more somber place but there are shops set up everywhere around it and people selling everything. More of a celebratory atmosphere than I expected... More

I had heard a lot about the Death Railway over the years but never fully understood the tragedy that was committed in getting it completed. Only when one sees it in reality can you understand what the attrocities that the POW's and local workers were subjected too to complete this railway line.
