What a lovely shop! The shop aims to support local communities for instance those affected by natural disasters or seasonal workers, in helping them to make a living. The lady we met was clearly passionate about the work carried out by The Family Tree. She spent time with us explaining where the products were sourced from, who made them and... More

We discovered 'The Family Tree' store and have been twice for gift buying for our family and ourselves. Since we were undecided about a particular bag for our daughter, they allowed us to take photos of the bag in different colours which we texted to our daughter. Once she told us which one she preferred, we went back and luckily... More

I have visited the Family Tree many times. Each time, the service is warm and the staff is knowledgeable. Each item is sourced from someone/some place that the owners know. They KNOW their business. Take time. look at the goods and talk. You will learn a great deal about Thailand and a great deal about yourself. If you are looking... More

Here you can buy real local products and you can see they work directly with the producer, each product is different and special. Loved the fact they are fair trade and super friendly Best place to buy a... More

High quality craft products from various parts of Thailand. The aim of the business is to support traditional crafts and give craft producers an out let fro traditional products. Also supports communities which fallen victim to natural disaster e.g tsunami hit villages. Well worth a visit just for the warmest welcome in Thailand!

The first time I visited the Family Tree was back in 2013 during our holiday, we got to know about the shop from Peter and we checked them out online through TripAdvisor and their Facebook page. The shop from outside might look just like any typical souvenir shop BUT once my boyfriend and I stepped inside, with a warm welcome... More

They are on the leading edge of connecting sustainability to community based art and culture via a socially oriented business here... More
