Baan Sillapin is a picturesque art center consisting of several studios and shops. Visit and watch the masters working! A large variety of paintings is for sale, all reasonably priced. There is also wood art as well as some antiques and wearable art. Baan Sillapin 's arists are well known for their high quality work. It is possible to take... More

Lovely quiet place approx 10 mins by tuktuk out of Hua Hin. My girls spent a good hour painting boxes and T-shirts here one Friday while grownups had coffee, wandered about and chatted to the artists. Open 10-5, shaded but not air-conditioned. Probably wouldn't bring pre-schoolers. Drinks and ice- cream available. Very pleasant.

Sadly I didn't get to spend as much time as I would have liked at the hua hin artists village as they were closing up for the day. I had half an hour to have a quick look around and I can say that I would have loved more time there. Like others have mentioned, this is a one off... More

This artist village host many galleries and ateliers from locals, and it also has some nice exhibitions and even jazz sessions on Sunday. It is a very relaxing atmosphere and you can see artists at work. I just love this place on Sunday afternoon for sipping an ice coffee or just wandering around.

We visited before the official time for activities, so it was very quiet. This actually made our visit very nice as we were looking to browse around the shops rather than watch a concert or engage in activities. This is not a flea market, it has nice and original shops where local artists sell their products. Some of them were... More

I visited Baan Sillapin many years ago and met Khun Tawee Kesa-ngam, the founder of this great village. Tawee has since become a friend and I have watched the village change over time and grow to have many artists who share different mediums. There is a wide range of artwork, clothing, jewellery, and crafts at the village. There is something... More

It was such a lovely treat to visit this artists' village where the art and crafts were originals and of high quality. Not the mass-produced items that you normally find in Thailand. The location is charming too as it is situated amongst nice green trees and plants. I also liked the idea of doing some craft-making sessions with some of... More

Also known as Hua Hin Artists Village, I saw the site on my way to Black Mountain GC one day and decided to come back with my wife. We have been going to HH for many years but had never heard of it. Actually, it was quite a treat to have quite a few local artists showing (and working) in... More
