If you are an art lover, this is a place to hangout. It has grown very organically, and therefore creativity emerges at every crevice of its development. Like a healthy village, it is negotiated space that seeks to take care of its community. I absolutely loved how they are working to develop the talents of children. I felt no pressure... More

one cannot comment the work of the artists since that is very personal but the venue needs some upgrade, the artists could be more welcoming and, certainly, a reality check in terms of prices would be a good thing for business such as it is or would like to be.

You can pay for kids craft, there are a few choices for kids to choose. The environment was quiet. If you travelling with kids and have time, why not take kids to visit.

Not what I was looking for,. Wanted a nice memento to take home, things were a bit pricey and items too big for the suitcase.

Artist Village is the place to go to find hand-made works of art by the artists, most of them working on new pieces as you walk through. A rabbit warren of small rooms and shops, very fun to explore. I heard there is some live music during High Season but have not seen it yet. Easy to get to on... More

Although fairly small, every corner of the artists' village is packed with something to see. Be it the life-sized 'Winged Seraph' that adorns the front grille of Rolls-Royce motor cars or the elephant models dressed in spider-man outfits, you will not be bored. Walking among the galleries, you soon realise that you are experiencing where the artists work and live,... More

Well worth a visit especially if you like original art. There are some talented artists here with vibrant oils and delicate water colours. Art classes too if you feel inspired. Clothes too and jazz on Sunday nights!

If you are tired of the boring old souvenirs you can get at most other markets, try the artist village. There is something for everyone here. My 2 girls (aged 2 & 7) spent an hour painting small wooden houses they picked out of the gift shop. The teachers and assistants helped them if there was something they needed. I... More
