Fun market

Not the best place to find vegetarian food, but was a nice market where the locals made and sold stuff.

This is a nice market with plenty traditional Thai food and lots of shopping. Be sure to bargain! We enjoyed the sea food which was picked fresh from display and cooked in front of you! Quite an experience!

We have visited Cicada market because it was listed as one of the main attractions in Hua Hin. What to say? One visit was more than enough, but we had to come back a few more times to accompany our guests/visitors. The crafts area – the average stuff, did not see any real authentic souvenirs. The cultural arena/performances – ditto.... More

The Cicada Market happened to be between my hotel and my work event, so I stumbled upon it by accident. In the evening it's a big, bustling ,lively market, lit up brightly and selling all manner of arts, crafts, trinkets and food. Really recommend a visit when in Hua Hin!

Great show of "Khon", the traditional Thai opera and all around shopping for local homemade souvenir and painting from local artists. Although it was a little crowded over the weekends, there was a wide variety of food and artifacts to choose from. Parking is rather limited. We parked at the hotel and walked 250 meters to the market. You could... More

Brilliant place to go to. Looks very clean and it is a nice place to relax with your family. Plenty of shopping choices but the foods are superb.

- Mostly handmade item sold here - Famous for "Free Add Name" to the souvenir - Have foods and drinks like food court - Use coupon instead of Cash, but is refundable for the day itself (F&B) - ONLY open in weekend

The ambience is very nice, however not a lot of artist items or performers. The food was a bit odd for our personal tastes. If is fits into your schedule it may be worth a stop but this market does not seem worth planning your day around.
