Great ambiance, good mix of food and shopping. Could use an ice cream/desert restaurant, and a wider range of shopping.

More upmarket and more interesting than other markets in Thailand. I enjoyed walking around as some of the goods sold there are unique (hand made by local artists). I bought mini pineapples ( which I had not seen in my county). They were very tasty!

We came to Hua hin to get away from the craziness of Bangkok and at first was a little disappointed. Then we came across the Cicada market. The market has well laid out stalls selling a wide range of mostly original handcrafts, mostly modern, and mostly different from anything seen in standard markets. You can't really compare the price to... More

Cicada is not like other night markets in Thailand. First of all, food is much more expensive – Thaiwife says that local dishes are about double of what she would pay elsewhere. Western food is not cheap either; a plate of pasta sets you back by almost 200 Baht. However, the surcharge has a return: You eat from real plates... More

We spent a great evening at the Cicada Market. We were a little early for the market holders as many were still setting up but we sat down in the lovely shaded courtyard and had a drink while we waited. To buy any food and drink, you need to buy coupons which can be refunded at the end of the... More

This market has very up market stalls. Very good products and some unusual. The food section is really good all sorts of food and a special sectio for deserts. You can go early to eat as the food stalls open early but if you are just going to the market don't go before 6pm.

This is one if the best night markets I've visited in Thailand. They had everything from hand crafted items, food, entertainment & art gallery. Shop stalls line the pathway. Food stalls were together in one area which also had tables & chairs. Street performers were spread throughout the market. Most we're music bands or solo instruments, one group of bboys... More

Lucky for us, we were visiting hua hin during the weekend and got a chance to visit this market. There are a ton of food that's delicious and sanitary compared to other night markets. Vendors took pride in their goods and didn't bargain much. Most were quality handmade items that you can't find anywhere else. Definitely more upscale than other... More

A busy hand craft market open Friday, Sat, & Sunday night. This market just sell hand crafted goods from local small business, no fake stuff. Quite busy, seemed quite popular with the locals. Many small restaurant stands set up around. And some kind of stage with live performances. A nice change of pace from the other markets in town. It's... More
