I December 14 last week we were there during Pirate Festival. This market amazed us with vast variety of food, beautiful art installation and small artisans busy creating beautiful work for selling. enjoyed the live music and a perfect family place for weekend.

Do not miss the Cicada Market during your stay in Hua Hin. It's a weekend night market packed with local art, clothing, accessories, and the most important - FOOD! The market only operates on Fri-Sun. Be reminded that Coupons are used when buying food, and you may purchase the coupons at the entrance booth. You may refund the unused coupon... More

Based on a permanent site, but only open Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings, supposedly based on Chang Mai night markets, it is more like a large Food court in Singapore in terms of cleanliness and layout, Chang Mai is far more anarchic. It does though have a good representation of northern Thai foods. The site is next to the Hyatt... More

Like the crowded atmosphere. Dislike the mixture of cooking smells. Disliked that you have to pay for parking on a sand parking place.

Went to Cicada Market with some friends that own an apartment in Hua Hin and didnt know what to expect, but if you want a good experience with Thai food, this is it! You buy coupons as you enter into the food area and you can go around from booth to booth and pick and choose form all sorts of... More

Clean and neat, with a food court with good choices if you need some rest and recharging. Many arts and craft booths, leather goods store etc which are different from the modern shopping malls or night markets else where. Worth a visit if you're in Hua Hin during weekend, as it only opens Friday to Sunday.

Last week for lunar New Year my family and I visited Thailand and we stayed in the Hyatt Regency, Hua Hin from the 14th of February to the 20th. This was our second stay here but after our amazing first experience we couldn't help but come back. For both of our trips, Cicada Market was and will probably always be... More

You have got to go here to experience all the different Thai foods. You buy vouchers for food, hand them over to the stall holders and at the end of the evening if you have any left. take them back and get a refund. Also lots of craft stalls that are very different from the average market

Hard work, complicated, no seating, average food that was overpriced. Could only buy food using tokens purchased on the day. Queues for anything decent, long. We wanted different food which meant separating, then hoping to meet up at a table, no drink though as that was another queue. We spent about 1000 baht on rubbish. Our average sit down good... More
