Lots of items selling there, but remember, every time the price is out, cut the price by half, then slowing bathing to 70-80% of the price. The goods there had been markup for foreigners. Got there before noon or evening onwards. Hat Yai is a hot place, in the afternoon will be very hot inside the market.

Passed by these narrow lanes in the morning at 10:30am, there is just nothing attractive to see here. Its actually a small market lot with a few narrow lanes with some small shop lots selling CDs songs, movies, imitation watches, some peddlers found selling openly "interesting toys, movies and medicines", not suitable to be viewed by children. Overall, this place... More

This place is really good for shopping. You could spend times walking just to look for stuff you wanted to buy.

If you look for a cutting board for your kitchen made from tamarind wood (makham), an Indonesian sarong for yourself or whomever, or if you are looking for reasonable DVD copies, raw sugar, chocolate, this is the place to shop. Most items are smuggled in from Malaysia and a bit cheaper than at the local supermarket. As they are no... More

Basically, it is callled "PaSat" Hokkien dialect or "market" in English. The local Thai understand Hokkien as many travellers are from Penang-Malaysia. So, if you want to go to Santisuk Market ,just tell the Tuk-Tuk driver that u want to go to "pasat" or "pasar", they will bring you there for a fee of 20Bath/person/trip (if you are staying around... We went here just to shop after a tiring trip around the small town of Hat Yai & the beach. All you can find here is fake stuff at cheap price so, don't set up yr hope too high for quality. Halal street stalls are abundant around the market so, don't worry be happy. Thai food is spicy so, if... More

Regarded as one of the best shopping spot in Hat Yai, it is a must go places for many especially Malaysian, to buy cheap price goods like medicine, food and clothing. Not too far from the center of Hat Yai, a short trip by Tuk Tuk will cost you from 20 to 30 bath. Once arrive you will be seeing... More
