Was there with shorts as my family is visiting the temple before the ice dome. Was told shorts would be fine but the temperature is too cold for kids. Barely 5 minutes before the kids shivers badly and had to rush out.. But will visit again in future with proper attire..

This attraction is something totally different and well worth spending an hour looking round the ice sculptures and ice scenes. You are provided with warm shoes, coats and gloves, and as the temperature inside is minus 20 centigrade you are advised to use them. You wait in an pre entrance area for 5 minutes to get acclimatised to the temperature... More

Awesome ice carvings, good mixture display of interesting carvings.Staffers at the distributing of Jackets are not too helpful enough thou, they refused to change my jacket which was too small for me.The hand gloves supplied were too thin, our hands were too frozen to take any pictures.LoL.Overall it was a very interesting place to visit.

Paying 300 bahts to freeze yourself at Hatyai Ice Dome at the Hatyai Municipality Park for fun and thrill! It's near the Malaysian borders ( western coast of Malysia is Padang Besar & eastern coast of Malaysia is Rantau Panjang). Hatyai... More

Parking not a problem at all. First when you arrive the staff dress you up for the cold inside. You wait to acclimatise then they usher you inside. You can walk around all the ice statues at your leisure. Some people take their cameras inside for making excellent photographs. Well worth the visit and even kids enjoy the experience. I... More
