Hatyai Ice Dome

For a small town in Thailand to have an interesting n enjoyable attraction such as this, I am really impressed. One up against Singapore. Definitely worth a visit!

I been there twice and had a great time. But better bring your own long pants because they don't provide. The first time we took less then 5 mins because it was too cold.

Was there with shorts as my family is visiting the temple before the ice dome. Was told shorts would be fine but the temperature is too cold for kids. Barely 5 minutes before the kids shivers badly and had to rush out.. But will visit again in future with proper attire..

This attraction is something totally different and well worth spending an hour looking round the ice sculptures and ice scenes. You are provided with warm shoes, coats and gloves, and as the temperature inside is minus 20 centigrade you are advised to use them. You wait in an pre entrance area for 5 minutes to get acclimatised to the temperature... More
