Paying 300 bahts to freeze yourself at Hatyai Ice Dome at the Hatyai Municipality Park for fun and thrill! For information, Hatyai is the 4th.largest city in the south, under province of Songkhla, Thailand. City's population about 160,000. It's near the Malaysian borders ( western coast of Malysia is Padang Besar & eastern coast of Malaysia is Rantau Panjang). Hatyai... More

Parking not a problem at all. First when you arrive the staff dress you up for the cold inside. You wait to acclimatise then they usher you inside. You can walk around all the ice statues at your leisure. Some people take their cameras inside for making excellent photographs. Well worth the visit and even kids enjoy the experience. I... More

Situated in the Hatyai Municipal Park there are lots to see and do here. One of the newest addition to that is the Hatyai Ice Dome. Ice sculptures of architectural wonders around the world. For season 5, the main theme is ancient China in the first room. In the second and last room, you'll see a mix of pyramid/Sphinx, Rome... More

This is an interesting exhibit that you may consider. It is a collection of ice sculptures representing some famous attractions around the world. You get a down parka and gloves when you arrive, and the sign says it is -15°C inside. The sculptures were nicely done and quite impressive. If nothing else, it is a nice break from the heat... More

Admired the ice sculptures in there. Super cold. Only one activity which is the slide. Went there with my sister while our parents waiting outside. Less than an hour visit.

300 baht for the ice dome (more of a gigantic freezer). The dome is filled with various ice sculptures. Now it is season 5 - they change the sculpture every season. A good experience for ASEAN people to feel sub zero temperature. The dome is kept at -15C.

Located about 5km north of downtown Hat Yai the Ice Dome is a great attraction for kids. The temperatures inside are a chilly -15 but you are provided with a coat and gloves by the staff. Like most Thai attractions though this place practices dual pricing.
