I went up for the most spectacular sunset ever. Tomorrow morning I'll go take in the sunrise as well. There were only 3 or 4 people at sunset. Lots of bungalows in and near the village to choose from. Route 93 is lovely on a bicycle. Surely lovely on a motorbike or car as well.

This is a very newbie friendly hike mountain. It is a short hike about 1 hour long. Once you reach the top there is a very good view of the surrounding. At the bottom you can buy some food like noodles, drinks and grill pork to replenish your energy.

This is a romantic getaway trip that is quite amazing for its beauty and natural scenery, a top pick from our list of places to visit in Thailand..my wife and I highly recommend you visit the northern "Golden Triangle" and visit Chiang Rai and make the drive out to see Phu Chi Fa. Phu Chi Fa also written as Phu... More

The hike up is about 1 kilometer, But the viwe is incredable. It is VERY popular with Thai teens for new years, and the first sunrise of the new year. It is the ultimate lovers leap as well. there are NO guard rails and the drop is impressive. The price is good as well $0.00

One of the most beautiful wiews in Thailand. If you fall down from the cliff, you will enter Laos while flying :-) To see the sun rise over Laos, close to the Mekhong river, in the cool season (not crowdy) gives memories for Life. There are small hotels in the neigborhood and the walk to the top is easy, 20... More

Great motorcycle ride up and down with many routes to get there and leave by. The views are magnificent and riding through the villages is always welcome - viva le difference. Still needs some work on the food and drink options close to the top with more choices lower down the mountain

Just love this place & had been here in different time of the year. Very serene felt like u are on top of the world. Best time to visit is sunset during the low season with the ray n the wind caressing your face. Year end high season - too crowded & touristic during sunrise.

Really little chillednback place with super friendly people. Great views into Laos (and back into Thailand). We went to the lookout/picture point around noon when we first arrived, really nice. Went up the next morning before sunrise to watch the sky change from dark and foggy to light and foggy. (Helpful hint being dont put all your eggs in one... More

Incredible views that brings a tear to any eye seeing it. Looks different from the various seasons. Make sure you stay a night in the town, just to experience the local culture. Trust me, this is far from Thailand. Culture here is mountain-style. Great hospitality, but I guess that's because of the tourist dollars that enters this part of the... More

You really do feel on top of the world here! Breathtaking views, even though there was quite a bit of fog. We stayed in Phu Chi Fa town, and it took quite a while to find accommodation. There are a lot of places to stay, but the town has a lot of local visitors and the prices quoted were quite... More
