After driving 1800km in Thailandwit my boyfriend, we decided to visit Boomerang at 9am ,4 April, when we just reached the black temple to the north of Chiang Rai. I made a call. Ken was ok with we arriving at 11am. Great nature. Fantastic rock climbing wall. Friendly staffs. The big swing gave an adrenalin rush as well as a... More

Went with my boyfriend and my son to survey- decent place with nice camping area and beautiful climbing wall. Such a waste we went during the monsoon- heaps of mosquitoes and wet. You need to call the contact number ahead to make reservation.

Great trip! The owner is very kind and easy going. We went to beautiful caves nearby, tried the giant swing and the zip lines, which are very scary, but awesome and climed onto some really good rocks. In addition we were taken to a cave that you probably wouldn't find on your own. At least in the rainy season. Cave... More

A good time all around, as I recall - including the young man enjoying one of the traverse climbing routes. Interesting that there's concern about the Big Swing. The top anchor point has five 10mm guy wires, and its fixed position is such that the weight of the swinger is not a factor in how close to the ground that... More

My husband and I decided to go here because they offered a budget weekend stay on site with unlimited access to all the facilities. What we experienced was very different from what we expected, but in a good way. Everything about the "park" is very different from the more mainstream activities you get to do in Thailand but that's the... More

Found Boomerang to be a refreshing way to amuse oneself in Thailand. Kind of like a home stay of nature park. One feels as though you are visiting the owners private playground and they are sharing the experience with you. Highly recommended1

The owner was very friendly but seemed disorganized and I'm not sure what formal training he has in rigging, or climbing safety, or cable certification/inspection for the zip line. I didn't see any backboards for emergency stabilization. The brochure says top quality gear however they do not have actual climbing shoes (not a big deal I guess) but the helmet... More

As I recall, the young man partook in several fun activities, and was safe throughout. As manager, I rebuked the bellayer/guide for not keeping a 100% focus on the climber, the whole time a climb is going on. The safety record at Boomerang is still 100%, and we take efforts to maintain that. More

We had a very raw but fun experience at Boomerang. This is an adventure park, Thai style. We hiked around the local area with a highlight being a real life bat cave. Our guide (Johnny) was eccentric to say the least. His English was a random stream of consciousness but entertaining nonetheless. The park itself lacks the kind of health... More

Glad to hear of another group having a enjoyable times. The laid-back atmosphere is part of the plan. There are no large red and white warning signs and no guard rails, but the underlying #1 concern is safety. Enjoyment, challenging outdoor activities, pushing your limits, ......are all close runner ups. More

Unfortunately there was a monsoon half way through the day so we couldn't climb in the afternoon but there was still lots to do. We arrived about half an hour early and no one was there yet. Eventually a Thai guy who has a very interesting interpretation of English came and whisked us off on motorbikes to a nearby cave... More

We made the best of it considering there were some sprinkles for a bit. Even so, we got to do the zip lines twice and also did a 2nd go on the giant swing, besides all the other fun activities. Glee all around. More
