My second visit to bangsaen as it is one of my favourite spots in Thailand. The beachfront has soo many street vendors cooking up fresh Bbq meats of all sorts. There are lots of bars and restaurants that you can sit and watch the sunset. We stopped in at the Tele bar for a few beers and to watch Buriram... More

I heard about this beach as being better than Pattaya. So I went there for the first time but did not like it at all. Yes, the beach in itself could be nice with its long stretch of sand and even palm trees. But first of all, it is very very commercial: vendors everywhere and every bit of the beach... More

It's nice to get away from the usual Bangkok busy lifestyle to enjoy a Thai local style holiday. The beach is not very clean and street food vendors come around to sell their food, which is not fresh, but it's good that they are not persistent or nasty.

The Beach has been cleaned up!! A big improvement but even when it was dirty I always enjoy going to Bang Saen Beach and seeing so many happy locals!! It is a joyous happy place where everybody enjoys themselves. Many good eating and drinking places and the vendors are always obliging and smiling. Better than Pattaya Main Beach but not... More

Most beach goers were Thai. The beach was dirty. The sand and water was brown. It was very busy on the weekend. There were many vendors on the beach. We pay 40 Bahts for a private parking.

Bang Saen beach is to me one of the most relaxing places ever. The long beach with coconut trees is just peaceful. In the week it is somewhat quiet, but in the weekends the beach is full of tourist from Bangkok. Beach chair and great food is easy to find. And if you want a rubber ring for swimming you... More

Had a great day visiting Ang Sila pier\market, Monkey hill, Bang Saen beach and the mangroves. Upon arrival to the beach, we parked the taxi (hired for the day) and walked along the beach. It was wonderful watching the local kids play and families hang out. We sat in one of the beach chairs and was told that if you... More
