Lots of stuff but very overpriced except for t-shirts, but don't expect a good variety of those. Not a bad place to stop in for a beer or soda, or to get coffee and tea to bring home. More

Entrance to the art center was surprisingly free, but the quality of the museum would have been worth paying for. The museum has four floors of art pieces that range from hundreds of years old to current times, providing a brief but vast survey of African art and cultural history. There are lots of souvenirs available, you can buy smaller... More

If you don't have time to go into every shop in Arusha and bargain for the best price the Cultural Heritage Center is the place to go. You can find all sorts of interesting items here from the very low price to antique wood carved masks and certainly the worlds largest stock of Tanzanite . . . Talk with "Safe"... More

has fascinating cultural and handmade items from all over Africa and Asia and a DHL place to send the item to you if you buy but is way overpriced. Your driver does get a tip for taking you there. Cool place to go and look at all of the stuff. More

Great idea, but items are over priced. Bartering is a must. More

They have a lot of local crafts, paintings, carvings as well as jewelry and other souvenirs. Plus there is an art center out back and very clean restrooms. We stopped here on our way to Tarangire NP at the beginning of our safari. I bought a bowl made locally. That's the nice place about this center is apparently you are... More

As temp residents of Tanzania, working in Serengeti for the past eight years, I would highly recommend regular visits by both residents, locals and visitors to this extraordinary place. I don't think there is a finer, more wide ranging collection of fine art and artefacts to be found ANYWHERE in Africa, that could cater for absolutely every taste, and be... More

you can find in this place a lot of typical tanzanian souvenir such as ebony sculptures, coffee, tea and spices but also very nice local clothes and tee shirts. The place sells jewelry and famous tanzanite. Prices are a bit high for the region but the quality of the products is there and we have not been disappointed. Special recommandation... More
