We saw many troops of baboons and varieties of monkeys who seemed to be entertaining us along the way. The park starts out as jungle and then opens into grazing areas. We saw lots of different animals and many different trees...just beautiful.

While this park is famous for its tree climbing lions, we didn't see any. We did however see hundreds of baboons and other monkeys up close and easy to photograph. We did see hundreds of monkey, especially baboons walking down the roads in huge troops, climbing on our vehicles and putting on an amusing show. The hippo pools were great and we were lucky... Another jewel in Tanzania's parks. A variety of terrains and good opportunities to view animals. Make sure you have your mosquito repellant. Good visitor amenities.

Great day in Manyara, lot's of zebras on the road, wilderbeasts and baboons. Forest elephants, too.Good close ups for photo lovers. No tree climbing lions, though. Very dense forests. Ejoyed it very much. Unique safari spot.
