Lake Manyara National Park is about a 2-3 hours drive west of Arusha (The main city in the Northern Circuit). It offers a wife range of wildlife such as Elephant, Giraffe, Impala, Hippo, Cape Buffalo, Zebra, Wildebeest, Warthog, to name a few. This is not going to be the best place to spot Lion, Leopard and Cheetah because to its... More

Our 5 day Safari we had an absolute wonderful time. We really appreciated the fact that Kapolondo Expeditions customized our itinerary and always promptly answered any questions regarding our trip ahead of time. We always felt very comfortable and well taken care of. The accommodations and meals exceeded our expectations. It's amazing what these places can offer you in the... More

We spent a morning at the park on our return from the Serengeti to Arusha and was a pleasant short trip. There were certainly not as many animals or as big a variety of animals as other parks but it seemed to be a very well organized and run park. There was free and fast wifi at the park entrance... Small park near Arusha. At time of our visit, there were not that many animals. We wanted to see the pink flamingos up close but since the lake was nearly dry, they were too far away. We also did not see any of the tree climbing tigers. No need to visit as there are more animals in the other parks.

I was very well surprised by this National Park for wich there is not so much adwertising. First of all I think there is the most beautifull landscape. With savanah, hills, rivers, valleys, small forests and with a lot of animals. The formalities at the entrance are not so long as there were at the other National Parks. We enjoyed... More

There were so many elephants here. We visited 3 parks in 3 days, and they were all great. This one had dozens of elephants which we were able to see up close. Some of the elephants walked within 5 feet of our vehicle. We also saw a giraffe, hundreds (maybe thousands) of flamingos, zebras, hippos, hundreds of baboons, blue monkeys,... More

This was a lovely serene place to drive through. The different types of landscape were home to different animals and it was lovely to see how they live in their environ. The animals were so graceful and it was a joy to see the creatures unconcerned with humans.

Went into Lake Manyara NP for the morning en route to Ngorongoro Crater. The birdlife was amazing. Sadly no tree climbing lions!
