We visited for two days in a row staying outside the park at Panorama Campsite. However, I think a day at the park is enough. Game viewing was okay. Not as easy as in nearby Tarangire because the park has a lot more wooded areas. There are also not too many game viewing roads that come close to the lakeshore.... More

Loved it. It was money worth spending. Wish we could have spent the night in the park as well, but at those prices, best we didn't. Managed to see most of the animals in the park, although, we didn't get to see the famous tree climbing lions. My favorite were the Pink Flamingo's. Absolutely beautiful. First time I was seeing... Do go to Lake Manyara if you can - it's a beautiful place. If you do, however, make sure that you only give it half a day. Well worth going to see the view, look at the hippos and perhaps glance some elephants through the trees.

Lake Manyara National Park is about a 2-3 hours drive west of Arusha (The main city in the Northern Circuit). It offers a wife range of wildlife such as Elephant, Giraffe, Impala, Hippo, Cape Buffalo, Zebra, Wildebeest, Warthog, to name a few. This is not going to be the best place to spot Lion, Leopard and Cheetah because to its... More

Our 5 day Safari we had an absolute wonderful time. We spent a morning at the park on our return from the Serengeti to Arusha and was a pleasant short trip. There were certainly not as many animals or as big a variety of animals as other parks but it seemed to be a very well organized and run park. There was free and fast wifi at the park entrance... Small park near Arusha. At time of our visit, there were not that many animals. We wanted to see the pink flamingos up close but since the lake was nearly dry, they were too far away. We also did not see any of the tree climbing tigers. No need to visit as there are more animals in the other parks.

I was very well surprised by this National Park for wich there is not so much adwertising. First of all I think there is the most beautifull landscape. With savanah, hills, rivers, valleys, small forests and with a lot of animals. The formalities at the entrance are not so long as there were at the other National Parks. We enjoyed... More

There were so many elephants here. We visited 3 parks in 3 days, and they were all great. This one had dozens of elephants which we were able to see up close. Some of the elephants walked within 5 feet of our vehicle. We also saw a giraffe, hundreds (maybe thousands) of flamingos, zebras, hippos, hundreds of baboons, blue monkeys,... More
