Tip 1: Entrance fee is 200NT but elderly visitors can enter for free. Tickets also include a 40NT free voucher which you can use at the gift shops or in the restaurant. Tip 2: The cottage shuts at 6.30pm but it also depends on the weather forecast. If the weather is good, they will open until 7.30pm for fireflies-watching. If... More

Its located quite far from town, but it definitely worth your visit :) they have restaurants and cafe inside which you can sit there and relax the peacefulness of the place. the whole place is so peace and perfect for natural lovers. You can see how attentive and thoughtful of the people who own the place. Even the toilet is... More

We hired a driver when we were in Taichung last week (3rd March) and we made this our last stop on our tour (see Carton king and Xinshe Castle). Be warned that this place is really out of the way and took quite long to reach. It is lovely to visit but I would seriously advice against staying here as... More

We stayed in Taitung and we have to hire a driver to drive us up there. The journey took us about 1.5hr going thru lots of mountain roads before reaching. Visitors have to pay a small fees to enter but as they were re-building their cafe due to a fire breakout, entrance was free. The whole place was magical with... More

place is really tough to go. its better to hire a driver and you may drop by other attractions along the way. went in the winter, lavenders are sparse, but like the small notes left around in the farm by the owners. it is said to be the happiest job (the bosses pay them to travel so that they are... some had mentioned that they travelled real far to get here, mine was considered on the way and thus, although i was quite disappointed with the size of the farm and the lack of flowers, the kids had a relatively good time checking out the lavender cottage and the very pretty gift shop. the lavender ice cream is worth a... Drove for 3.5hours from Sun Moon Lake to this lavender farm. but all the effort is worth it. the farm is cute and interesting. They provide natural insect repellent and body mist for visitors. Public toilets are equipped with lavender air freshener and in-house made soup. visitors can try on this products and purchase it at the shop. When i... More

How this place sprung up in the middle of nowhere is the stuff of legends. Two ladies, sick and tired of the rat race decided to start a restaurant business in Sinshe. They did and it is also a small lavender farm. Now branches are springing up everywhere. Their cafe with the signature entrees and lavender-based products. We were here... More

peaceful and quiet surroundings, activities for adults and children, good place to have a walk and destress for a while, not very big though ... NOT LAVENDER FIELD, more like a small farm area + food + shop + activity area
