Transport: Kenting JieChe (Orange Line) and Pingtung KeYun (8249) Before I came here, I had the impression that Eluanbi is the southern most of Taiwan. No, I was wrong. Despite that, Eluanbi is still worth a visit. Things to do: light house, park, scenic walking trails (must do!) You will discover beauty of Eluanbi by exploring its scenic trails (looks... More

This was our first stop on our visit to Kenting. The park is not huge (we finished in about 1-2hrs), but nice. You can't go up to the lighthouse, but can get some nice photos. There's also a little shop next to the lighthouse where you can grab some beers and drink it up at the sea pavilion while enjoying... More

clear blue sky and wonderful countryside walk upstairs to the lighthouse. Not recommend to get there around noon.

Apart from the feeling of being at the south most point in the country go there to see how well a place can be created into a beautiful and scenic spot...

What a waste of time, effort, & money to come all the way here yet not allowed to walk up the Lighthouse or enter the gated compound for educational purposes. It's quite a long uphill walk towards the lighthouse from the entrance. The view overlooking the Sth China Sea was nice but not a wow & it's just another ordinary... More

When we visited in June, it was packed full of tourists and we could see more umbrellas and heads than views. Not all parts of the lighthouse was open to public and there was limited signs about the history and function of the lighthouse. I wouldn't recommend a visit, there are many more scenic places in Kenting to consider.

Nice photo taking place, there's an entrance fee of TWD 40. And if you turn left and walk up from the entrance you will reach the lighthouse faster. It's an uphill walk so you have been warned. I have also document the other places to go on my blog: http://www.spoiltbytes.com/2015/06/taiwan-11days-10-nights.html

I liked the park, but it's really hot to be there during this time of year. I would advice to take photos at the light house and around, then go straight into the 'forest', where temperature is tolerable and attractions are more interesting. It's a very easy trip around, with concrete paths built. We especially liked the Kissing Rocks, and... More

This place is huge! I suppose if one will to rackee the entire place might need at least half a day. Basically when u enter the park, if just to see the light house will have to take the left course and the right course requires a fair bit upscale walking. Right track have lesser crowds as you walk further... More

This park is a must in Pingtung! It costs you TWD40.- and worth a visit. There are number of attractions in there. Suggests you to start your walk from the right after the entrance, and the lighthouse will be the last stop. The trail is easy to walk. Please bring along water, umbrella / hat in the sunny day. No... More
