At the southernmost tip of Taiwan sits Eluanbi Park (within the much larger Kenting NP). The two main features are the Eluanbi Lighthouse and the walking track to the southern most tip of Taiwan (among a maze of other tracks). There is a small museum in one of the buildings in the grounds, of the lighthouse, which contains historical photos... More

Although originally intending to visit Eluanbi for the lighthouse, we were more impressed with the surrounding area. The lighthouse itself was fairly interesting (not the nicest looking thing in the world), but if you take a wander down to the seafront you can walk passed the kissing rocks and up to a great view across the ocean horizon. Beautiful place... More

it's a very tourisy location, but it's a must see. We headed off toward the hiking path away which was the opposite direction from the Lighthouse, we walked up these flights of stairs and saw a gorgeous view of the coastline. Be aware of the number of tourists you will encounter as you walk toward the lighthouse.

This town is located on the scenic route from Kending South. It's considered as the most southern point of Taiwan. We hired motor bikes and did the scenic route and stopped off at the light house. While the light house is tiny compared to others you can take a walk through the forest down to the beach and walk along... More

Went there by hired scooter from my hotel about 12km further north. Pretty park, which is kept clean and tidy. I would imagine it is very crowded in peak season, as there were a lot of folk there, mid-week out of season. Not a lot to see and do. You cannot get into the old steel armoured lighthouse, which is... More

Sometimes you just get the feeling that you are going there for the sake of going. Yes this is the southernmost point of Taiwan .... yes it does include Eluanbi lighthouse, a kissing rock formation, sea shore walk, easy inland short hikes and the obligatory souvenir & food stalls. Probably the best was the magnificent coastline. All part of the... More

i spend few hours in here as here is big and also you can walk around or sleeping on the greens~ ha... Lighthouse looks great! and the view nearby is excellent~ 鵝鑾鼻燈塔高21.4公尺,內設大型四等旋轉透鏡電燈,光度達180萬燭光,每30秒旋轉一周,見距20海浬,是台灣地區光力最強的燈塔,有『東亞之光』的美譽。The most powerful lighthouse in Taiwan!

Scenic park with a lighthouse because this is the southern most tip of the island. Affordable entrance fee and decent rest rooms. It's a comfortable trek down to the beach but you will need comfortable shoes and preferably a hat to protect you from the hot sun in summer. There isn't much shade so be prepared. Small path-side shops with... More
