Very crowded but worth it. Once inside climb the spiral stairs for a great view over the lake. Always come out of the Tigers mouth

All the sculpture there tells a story. If not, enjoy your day there with a lovely lake view and some good bites nearby the tower. If you are ever stuck needing to take cab, go to any shop and ask them to help you.

Take a glance of Kaohsiung scenery, highly recommended by the local. Many temples, pagodas, statues and attractions along this river side. I always take all the out town visitors to this spot since It gives them a better accessible option within walk-in distance from one to the others.

You get to see big tiger and dragon statues as well as a big Emperor of Heaven statue in a nearby temple. I had a pleasant walk visiting so many temples at one go.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit here. Strolled along the zig zag bridge to the dragon, walked up both pagodas and enjoyed the breeze and great views from the top, and then passed out through the tiger. Its a very scenic area with other pagodas on the Lotus lake. There were lots of people enjoying their Sunday afternoon relaxing here. We caught... More

As one of the most famous sites in the city, the Dragon & Tiger sit in front of pagodas at Lotus Lake's entrance. It is considered good luck to walk through the mouth of the Dragon, through the back of the Tiger and out the mouth of the Tiger. To do so in reverse is considered bad luck. A fun... More

We stopped at the Dragon Tiger Tower as part of a larger tour to Fo Guang Shan. If you want to enter and walk up each of the two towers, allow for a minimum half hour visit, depending on number of visitors. The setting on Lotus Lake is quite picturesque and the beautiful temple across the street is very inviting... More

as this is one of the long time tourist spot and symbol of KHH. Nice to sit up at the higher level of either tower to catch a breeze and to look out on the lake.

Caught a sunset here by chance with a friend that is year of the Tiger and I'm year of the Dragon. We had to check it out. You can walk around freely through the towers and temples that hug the lake if you get there before sunset, after they seal off a few sections. The colors during the day help... More

The attention to detail is most impressive. Even the granite panels in the fence are all carved with gorgeous scenes. One of the more colorful places in Kaohsiung.
