I love to come here, far from the maddening crowds; it is where Chung Shan (Dr Sun) University is located; the setting sun is most beautiful here; visitors who come here enjoy the spectacular sight of the sun that greet them with good night.

Sizihwan is a scenic area which provides good opportunities for taking photographs. Definitely worth a visit when in Kaohsiung.

I tool a local bus to commit to this harbor. Here is somehow far from the subway station. However, the way to this harbor, I can see many local life in Kaohsiung and nice to take a walk. Of course the harbor is beautiful but foggy.

Its hard to find a spot that was not occupied by the tourists, especially those from China, in and around this beautiful seaside scenic area. I did manage to find... More

Small seaside town where the British had their first Consulate in Taiwan. This is the only part that I felt that gave some value to the visit. Small shops with eateries and tourist to spend some monies and time to wonder around. Apart from that, nothing too much.

At the mountain top viewing the habour. Can see far out to the ends of the ocean where it meets the sky. Banana warehouse is also within sight. Used to keep bananas for export in the past but now has been transformed into an art exhibition area

People are complaining about the tourists, but they are probably tourists themselves! And are making the place more crowded than before they were there! Ok, there is not many things to see in Xiziwan, and it is crowded (specially, Chinese tourists...), although you can see a very beautiful sunsrt from there.

There are lots of motorcycles using the ferry. Ferry rides was so cheap, only at NT$14 per adult. The view is fine.
