An enjoyable though short visit to what must be one of the most decorative metro stations in the world. I discovered this station by accident and enjoyed seeing the artistic I glass work that lights up the whole station hall.

Doesn't need a special trip to visit the dome. It s just a colorful metro station. If you happen to pass by you can take a look .

I expected to see sun lighted glass but still even with lights the station is spectacular. I just stayed and admired it for some time. Definately worth a stop if you are in that part of the town or riding the metro.

If there is one metro station I would recommend visitors in Kaohsoung, it would be the dome of light. It's the one you always see on many travel articles. The dome of light has been mentioned numerous time for its beautiful colors of light. Yet for me who is staying in Kaohsiung for studies, it is nothing really spectacular. Just... More

This is probably not an attraction you would specifically make the trip for. It's a cool feature for the subway station where the two lines intersect but there isn't much else there. The subway station itself is dimly lit and almost eerily quiet. It is quite amazing that it looks like it was built for the masses but is so... More

Was staying near by during my Taiwan trip. Hence will be passing thru this station for few days. Nothing much special and feel very empty there. The shops are mostly closed even it is peak hours. Main attraction will be the dome of light. Make sure you bring a wide lens to capture the whole scene.

The station ceiling is colorful, but not a great work of art worth a special trip to see. If you happen to pass through, stop and take a look. More impressive are the large glass, above-ground station entrances. There are four big ones around the traffic circle. Very nice design, they give the area a modern look. The station is... More

Okay, it was pretty and colourful but my friend who lives here explained they spent a lot of money on it and after that, I just didn't think it was really that grand! Pretty but NOT an attraction to go see just for the sake of seeing it, if you are there, fine, go and take some pics but really... More

At the MRT station here they have 2 beautiful domes of light and an impressive ceiling artwork. A must see if you are passing through this MRT.

In a city with only two MRT Lines because it citizens prefer motorized scooter over public transport. The dome of light is simply the colored glass ceiling of the lobby of the station that connect the two MRT Lines. Aesthetic and artistic values aside. This location is not really an attraction that worth a trip for. All the hype about... More
