Peaceful and quiet place for some slow walk and enjoy the spectacular views.. Suggest to hire a cab/private tour guide to drive you around and at the same time intro you some history of Taroko Gorge.. Reached the park entrance at around 1:30pm and ended off around 4:30pm.. Suggest starting the tour earlier (like in the morning) to avoid the... More

The scenery is beautiful. Don't do a bus tour unless you want to see Taipei @ Tarako. Instead, do a private car. It will be well worth the extra cost because you can see the natural beauty without the crowds. More

A spectacular natural wonder with great history. Bus tours are fine, but if you would like to hike off of the main road, you will need to arrange your own transportation. More

Awesome scenery and paths, although some of the trails are closed due to previous landslides. Some roadworks are also currently under way. More

went to the Hehuanshan to trek ... a little spoilt by the rain but we still have great fun there was snow too around the side of the road and also manage to catch the sea of clouds on our way down the mountain. The view was awesome!! More

The walks amongst the rockfall and rivers are simply beautiful. Great for photo opportunities... but could be crowded during peak season... More

First of all, let me reapeat my title, Taroko Gorge and National park is absoutely fantastic. You need your own transportation (even a bike but becareful of rock slides), or a reputable taxi driver (most are very honest that part of the town and know where to go). Do not bother with anything else. There are a few attractions but... More
