Stopped at the beach on the way to Taroko National Park. Definitely worth taking the coast road and stopping here; very beautiful but hope you aren't looking for white sandy beaches (rocks).

We went during a rainy winter. The first impression it gave me was its beach which is made out of black sand. The clear blue ocean water is beautiful. The beach is scenic.

Majestic view of the waves, strong winds and sandy beaches with colourful pebbles. The public bus 105 reaches there but at infrequent timings from Hualien train station, I think the first one is at 11.30am. If you are going by public transport, do plan ahead. a lovely beach with pebbles, each individual in terms of color, patterns, an art of nature. Don't take any though it is very tempting, because those belong to the place and is for the admiration of all.

We arrived mid afternoon, the blue sea was calm and lovely mountains afar. As we get near the sea I noticed pebbles instead of sand, and along side it are huge marble stones laid out well. There were plenty of tourist along the beach enjoying the breeze and the view. The place is also filled with marble stone art from... More

One has to go to this beach. Absolutely stunning and gorgeous. The waves, the serenity, the nature. Everything to like. Even has really nice rocks to pick.

My family loved this place. The beach with pebbles instead of sand was quite unique to us. Great view of the mountains and the sea was emerald blue. It was very windy and cool when we went, and we loved it.
