I was a little let down with this experience but I think that's because I'd spent the better part of that day travelling through the gorge. While the views are great, they aren't stunning. If you take a scooter there be careful getting on and off the high way. Enjoy!

The view of the cliff against the sky and sea is simply breath-taking. Love the tranquility of the beach where there are few other tourists around the vast beach, and you can just enjoy the sound of the waves. Definitely recommend all the way down to the beach area instead of staying at the roadside to take photos. It is... More

The view just took our breath away. You cant swim here though. Very beautiful. Just enjoy the scenery. It may be hot so be sure to put some sunblock.

If you can find a quiet spot where you can enjoy the walk on the beach. Transport may be an issue, but you could always hire a taxi.

We travelled back from Hualien to Taipei using a rental car instead of the train. And are we happy that we did that. The views along the route all the way up to Suao are absolutely stunning. One of the nicest ocean drives we ever experienced. Don't miss it!

Sorry to say this but I didn't think that Taiwan would have such beautiful views. Before I came to Taiwan my impression of the country are shopping and street markets but this has changed my views. Beautiful sights. We came from Yilan and my local guide suggested that we take a train from Yilan yo HePing Train station and then... More

The enormous cliff is so steep & it makes you feel so small! You gonna brave up & walk along the road to another pitstop to catch different view of the stunning ocean with two colour tones. There're 3 stops nearby stops in total. It could have been better travelling there during summer!

With the mountains dropping steeply into in the sea. The cliffs of Ching Shui are truly a sight to behold. The Pacific Ocean pounds on the breakers and the typhoon barriers. In other places, they slam directly on the cliffs. The north south eastern highway run along the coastal cliffs and it cuts a ledge of the cliff. A drive... More
