This amazing cliff is located between Heren and Chongde along Su-Hua Highway. The scenic beauty stretches about 21km and rises vertically from the Pacific Ocean to over 800m. The cliff is made up of Gneiss and marble. The cliff is believed to exist from thousands of years. The route along the Qingshui Cliff is the only coastal road in Taroko... More

what a breathtaking sight! how could the shrine sits on top of a gushing fall and still stay intact? we didn't have the time to visit but looking at it from afar is enough to take my breath away!

we took a trip from Hua Lien to Yilan and the mountain road we took gave us view of cliffs and Pacific Ocean that is breath-taking. Well worth it.

I love good views, but there is nothing else to do but to look at the view here. The trail nearby was closed when we visited-- don't know if it is permanent.

Similar to certain stretches of highway 1 in CA, definitely worth a visit when in Hualien or Taroko national park. From the entrance of Taroko national park, it's a 15 mins short drive so worth the detour. The beach is accessible and the water is turquoise.

We just go there to enjoy this amazing view last year, but it's so sad the trail to the beach is out of service anymore, but we still took lots of photos this time

This scenery is very beautiful and from the look out, you can see two different colours of ocean, one from the left is from the Philipinnes and one from the right is from Japan, farther is China. As I couldn't find public transport, I booked private tour and this is one of the spots. Remeber to bring hat and camera/... More

Our tour guide stopped at this place while we are heading to Hualien from Yilan. The view are beautiful and spectacular. If weather is clear & good, this is a good place for taking photos. A place worth visiting.
