Sheer cliffs on one side, turquoise ocean on the other. There are several turn outs along Suhua Highway where you can stop and park your car.

The view is really good as the weather was great on that day. It has a nice coastline as well. A good stop for a good photo.

The wind was strong, view was nice and you get to see the sea from a bird eye view. You need to hire a driver to visit this. Go in the morning or nearer to lunch time to avoid the crowds, especially the swamp of tour buses. Also, beware of taxi drivers who hang around the visitor centre recommending their... More

Great view and an easy drive in Taroko Park. We went there with kids and since no hike was necessary, great point for pictures. Worth passing by for 5-10 minutes to take pictures..

Warning: There is no much to do except to take pictures of the cliffs by the pounding sea. However, for those who do visit, there are about 2 spots where one can take nice pictures of the mountains rising steeply out of the sea.

extremely photogenic place. Would have gone down to the beach area if time permits. Rather far out and inconvenient though.

Just a few minutes taking in the awe inspiring cliffs will be sufficient...catch them on your way into Taroko as they are only about a 10 minute drive north of the gorge entrance on highway 9!

The coastal road on the East Coast Taiwan is incredible and the best of the best is located at the northern Part right at the Taroko National park coastal area. I could stand an watch this scenery for hours the crystal blue ocean and enormous marble cliff. with occasional pebble beaches. I just wish there was an opportunity to walk... More
