Our tour guide stopped at this place while we are heading to Hualien from Yilan. The view are beautiful and spectacular. If weather is clear & good, this is a good place for taking photos. A place worth visiting.

There is a parking area at at the southern end of the road just before the cliffs begin. This offers great viewing (and photos) of the cliffs as they plunge, almost vertically in places, into the incredibly blue pacific ocean. In a feat of outstanding engineering, the coast road is cut into/tunnelled thru these cliffs providing a spectacular east coast... More

The cliffs are 5 km of spectacular coastline and it is a great scenic area. Come prepared to take selfies and lots and lots of snapshots. Do visit early as it would be unbearably hot by 9.30am and jostling with others for a good spot to take photos

The cliff is a wonderful area for a photo-op, provided you have good weather. The water is amazingly blue.

Amazing view dropping into the Pacific Ocean. Must visit. Good photo opportunity. The ocean looked spectacularly blue on a sunny day.
