A beautiful view on the lake from my hotel, Commodore -

This is a small but very beautiful lake, just outside of the city. I think it is especially nice in Autumn time with all the colorful trees. Have a look yourself !

Bomun Lake is a very pretty area. There are a few small store at which you can get snacks and some drinks. Most of the lakeside is open and away from businesses. I suggest getting some drinks and having a picnic. The walk around the reservoir isn't very long either, roughly a bit more than 5 km.

A large artificial lake surrounded by five star large hotels, starbucks and swan boats on the lake. Nothing wrong with that but not my thing!

This place was really good fun, sat and ate good food in one of the many restaurants dotted around, but the MAJOR attraction were the swanboats. Super fun!

It is a nice lake and especially during the morning. You may come here for a jog if you like, or have a breakfast here looking at the lake and enjoy the scenery. Chairs are available, just get the best spot you like and snap a lot of picture as you wish.

It is so difficult to rate Bomun Lake as we spent just half an hour here on a mid-afternoon walk, upon our arrival in Gyeongju. So this review is about practical tips. All our guidebooks advice that Bomun Lake is where you stay if you would like a bit of luxury. I would agree, because our own experience of a... More

This is a nice lake, mainly a resort area dotted with hotels. We stayed at the Commodore. We went in winter so we missed all the beautiful fall colors. it makes for a really nice walk. There's an amusement park also which kids will love and you can take swanboat rides on the lake. Some have commented that this is... More

If you choose to go there in the spring is packed with guests to see the cherry blossoms that surround the whole lake, really beautiful but i cant fight the crowds.. Lake is lovely, artificially created. Nice walkways and public gardens around. There is children complexes around. Looks like a favorite family vacation destination...
