We stayed in hotel by the lake, and the view along the lake is amazing and beautiful, especially during sunset. We enjoyed walking along the lake in the afternoon, and it's not so cold during winter.

Gyeongju is special in my opinion, reason being that one can find so many nice things to do without planning or stress. Bomun lake, appart from the natural beauty (well preserved area, a lot of life in the water like ducks etc) has something special: you can listen to classic music while walking around the lake. In addition: museum of... More

I visited Gyeongju this October and stayed in a hotel by the Bosun lake. The walk by the lake is very pleasant. There is always some instrumental music playing in the background. There were few tourists at this time of the year. I usually took a walk after dinner, when the promenade was lit up. I found the area to... More

The strolling path is lined with cherry trees. They turned red in autumn and is beautiful. The path is nicely designed. Great location for a relaxed stay.

I visited in Spring time and found cherry blossoms everywhere in Gyeongju. Bomun Lake is in the background in the pictures. There are bicycle and walking, jogging tracks that go around the man-made lake. Many hotels and holiday chalets, restaurants and eateries, shops, a park and the Hanwha Golf course. Stay at the Hanwha Resort is recommended. It is very... More

I'm enjoying the beautiful scene of Bomun Lake from early morning to late evening from my window of Hyundai Hotel. Cloudy weather is very good to enjoy the scene.

Large lake with composite walkway all the way around (about 10km). Lots of places to picnic. Luxury hotels on other side next to an amusement park.

Every spring, Lake Bomun will be enveloped with countless number of blooming cherry blossoms which is really unimaginable. We have been to Gyeongju twice, and will still go back again in the near future to behold this natural beauty in spring. If you can, rent bicycles to cycle around the lake (about 8 km route) or if you jog, you... More
