This statue is really quite amazing in an understated sort of way. I would have loved to have seen it when it was open to the elements and the sun rises in front of it. Even so, the work that has been done to protect it does not detract from a site that is well worth a visit. The other... more

The temple is quite a way from either Gyeongju City or the Bomum Resort area. Unless you're disabled ( there are disabled facilities incl a local car park) the car park is a fairly steep walk up to the temple itself.
