Getting the short ferry over to Udo is a treat and when you arrive on this small island you are made very welcome. Plenty eating places and nice walks around the island. A bus can take you around or there are bikes etc to hire.

Do it with your partner, not with your mates, not with your friends and not with a group. This is a tiny island and the ideal thing to do is to rent a bicycle and just glide around the island for a few hours. It is mostly just farms and a couple nice views, but it does make you feel... More

i have visited the Seongsan in Udo. I think Seongsan is a must go place because it has average difficultiy to climb up (108m). It's named as one of the new 7 wonder natural places. reasonable entrance fee applied.

This was a nice little excursion from the main island. Gotta take a ferry which means you need to head over to Udo early and be prepared to come back in the early evening as the ferry schedule will dictate your movement. There used to be a nice coffee shop halfway up at the base of the stairs to the... More

Friends, my husband and I rented ATV's, Scooters and a Golf Cart to check out this island. It was so much fun touring around and stopping at the beaches and different view points. We even saw the diving ladies who dive by only holding their breath! This wasn't the most spectacular views of Jeju we saw but the adventure was... More

Udo feels like more of an island than Jeju itself, because it is much smaller and rural. You can hire a car, golf buggy, cycle or simply walk around this scenic little island. Very short and cheap ferry ride from Seongsan, so add this into your trip to Sunrise Peak.

Not much to do, but if you rent a vehicle, its certainly worth a couple of hours to see what it has to offer. Even if just to see how the locals live.

Parked our car at Seongsan Ferry Terminal and the ticket booth for Udo is in the building on the left. We rented ATVs from the shop just in front of the terminal. Though it was pricier as compared to what other reviewers had paid for, it was very convenient for us to return vehicles just before we board the ferry... More

There isn't much on this island, and with a scooter, you can travel round the island on a leisurely pace in 2 hours. If you are there to relax and enjoy the beaches, then you would love it. But going there in autumn when it is cold, there isn't very much but just to bike around, get something to eat,... More

We visited udo island around August right after we visited the sonsang ilchulbong peak. Ferry cost around 4K per person, and 25K if you bring car. So far, we found one beach in Udo that we consider as the best place to swim because of the wave is quite big.. compared to the one in main island. We failed to... More
