We drove our rented car onto the ferry which took us to Udo in 15 minutes. If the weather hadnt been so cold, we would have tried the fun looking electric scooters. We stumbled into a seafood restaurant to the left of the ferry terminal and enjoyed a sumptuous seafood kimchi hotpot. Ordering was not a problem as the service... More

We started with a speedboat tour around the island. This was so much fun, because it's in an inflatable boat, and it goes super fast! My husband is Korean and told me to hold on with both hands. I am a Floridian so I thought I have done this before, but no! Hold on with both hands! The water are... More

So happy we took the time to make the climb. It's a lot of stairs to the top, so I would suggest you take along some water, and possibly some snacks, so you can take a rest part way up. There is one way up, and another down, which keeps things moving quickly.

Great to hang out with a scooter. Many scenic views and nice small restaurants and artist. It is really young place that I didn't expect at the beginning.

This place is great, fresh seafood sold at the coast, seeing the sea ladies in action (we were lucky and saw her catching an octopus with a fork like stick) and beautiful scenery of the coast, sea and land. It's a short boat ride over from the main island, then one could choose to take their bus at a fee,... More

If you are traveling alone, not planning to ride a bicycle or rent a car on the island, you can buy a local tour bus ticket. The price varies as they are several bus company. The local tour bus stops at several highlights of the island. The bus driver will introduce and talk about the island (in Korean). The scenery... More

Take a ferry from Seongsan, jump on a bicycle for the day and peddle round stopping at all the attractions. It's only 1.5hrs to cycle at a slow pace round the entire island so easily done via a day trip from Seongsan or even Jeju City if you got up early. We stayed on the island itself but truth be...
