Very lovely island. But travelling is an issue if you do not have international license to rent the atv. The roads were pretty narrow hence, a little scary to ride bicycle around. Hence the best would be by feeder bus. The seafood noodle, peanut makgeolli and peanut yogurt were fantastic and must try!

My partner & I chose park our car at seongsan harbour so we could take the ATV. To our dismay, their ATV can only carry 1 driver. Therefore we rented the sheltered scooter that can sit 2. The rental of that scooter is charged at an exorbitant 15,000krw/hr. We exceed the return time by a mere 20 minutes and had... More

Island best explored by driving, ATV or bike rental. Ferry across from mainland Jeju also carries vehicles. Road kinda narrow so one need to be careful, I blew a tyre when my right wheel rammed into a rock or kerb :-( Lots of climbing if you really wanna explore in-depth. Many small eateries on the island. Very scenic island with... More

We went to Udo during the winter season. We decided to take the bus to tour the island. The bus was supposed to stop at 4 points. When we got off at the second stop, we couldn't find the same bus when it was time to head to the next stop so we just took other buses. Transportation aside, Baeksa... More

This was really a nice long walk. Will advise to wear good walking shoe. The route was easy to walk just that when the wind come you can feel the wind blowing at you. You have to walk all the way up and you will be able to see the nice surrounding. It was really nice and we really enjoyed... More

We rented bycicles and ride around (It was about $15 for 2 bycicles) The stones on the beaches were special. We tried the dish of raw fish and noodles in the restaurant where my friend said to have appeared a movie/show. It's near the beach. The fish was fresh but we dont like the taste much. It's a really naturally... More

It's my favourite place in Jeju! It's not just an island as we thought it would be! Rmb to bring along your international license if you are planning to ride any motorised vehicles. We biked around the island which in my opinion allows you to see more attractions. Do time checks regularly as the ferry leaves at around 5pm, note... More

Had a lovely half-day here. The island is small, but has beautiful beaches, and a tall hill. We rented a scooter and had a slow day driving around, seeing the sights and having our snacks. I'd say it's a fairly good place to take it easy and go at your own place to be close to nature, but not so... More

My sister and I went to Udo on a ferry ride after spending a couple of hours at Seongsan Ilchulbong. Because we did not want to go back at dawn, we limited our time to be on the island for about 2-3 hours. It is actually best recommended to spend half a day touring the island either on bus or... Spent the sun rose moment at Seongsang Ilchulbong, which was a wonderful sight it self. After, we say in the cafe waiting for the ferry stated to operate. Walk from Seongsan to the Udo ferry terminal for about 20 to 30 mins. Fillup a form with names and contact number, purchased round ticket (do not loose it) and get board,... More
