This island is like a mini-Jejudo. You can see entire Seongsan Ilchubon from this island. This place is more relaxing and peaceful than Jeju-do, a bit off-touritst path compared to other places. I like the view at Udobong at its atmosphere. Which I had more time, so I can bike around the island.

I stayed at Ojo Haenyo Guesthouse area, hopped on a taxi to get to the port to Udo. The port is actually very near but I chose not to walk there. Paid less than KRW4000 for the taxi, cheap indeed. Bought a return ticket at less than KRW6000, ran towards the ferry that was about to leave for Udo, and... More

Udo was a really fun trip! We rent a bicycle and went around the beautiful island. You able to see beautiful scenary and how local people living their lives (houses and farming) . Restaurant is everywhere and easy to get food. Thought it would be super expensive since its in an island..but its not. Ferry was pretty easy and fast... More

Ride a scooter around this island. You will not regret it! Also have a burger at the place in the northern part of the village, it's pretty good for asian standards.

It is better to travel the island by bike. The seafood there was good and cheap but the beach was not very suitable for swimming.

When you come to Jeju, you have to go to the lovely island of Udo. It is very touristy, but it still has much to offer and so many lovely views. The Udo icecream experience from the bluffs to the kind people, interesting black sand beaches, breath taking views, suje burger (in ho ho ho restaurant, even the ferry ride... More

This is a great little island for relaxing! Be sure to rent a bicycle in order to explore everything, as walking would take most of the day. There are a few nice cafes and restaurants along the coast, but mostly, I recommend buying yourself a can of Cass beer and sitting near the sea to enjoy the views.

Perfect place for renting a bike and it takes about 1.5 to 2 hours to paddle around the island. Coffee shops and attranctions along the way.

Drove to Udo island on a self-drive trip and took ferry from Seongsan pier in the morning. It was easy driving in Udo island - it was a tiny island and there weren't many tourists around. While strolling up Udo-bong, saw a group of physically challenged students brought to Udo-bong by their teachers. A very heart warming sight. There isn't... More
