My wife and I took a gorgeous walk through this park after dinner a few blocks away. Beautiful grassy areas, well maintained with lots of flowers. You could probably spend all day in this park if you wanted.

Washington Park is so quiet and relaxing. A beautiful oasis in the middle of a busy city. A little like a mini Central Park. Always clean with beautiful flower beds and trees.

Nice place to run, relax, and sit by the water and watch the birds. Used to skate on the pond during the coldest months, but dont know if they let you do that today.

The park has expansive lawns and places to walk or play. There's plenty of room for picnic blankets - close enough to parking areas so bringing coolers is no problem.

Washington park is always above spot to take some work and sit by the pond with friends. The tulips are always great as well as lights in the park. Good for walks, jogging, yoga, hanging out, walking the Dog...anything really!

This is one of my favorite parts of Albany. Its like my version of Central Park. There is so much green, lots of tranquility, and lots of beauty. I could spend a whole say here laying out and reading, or just listening to music. I also annually come here for the Breast Cancer Walk in November.

The boathouse is a wonderful building and the grounds are well maintained. A special area for pets. It is the site of several plays during the summer and the tulip festival in the spring. I recommend the tulips but no the festival as there are way too many people and there is no way to keep the crowds moving. Go... More

The park was large spacious and very nice. We missed the tulip fest by a week but still enjoyed walking through the park...

We spent a relaxing afternoon sitting on a park bench in the warm sun, chatting, dog awnd people watching, particularly enjoying many skateboarders on the statues. They were very respectful of each other, taking turns, making sure there were no injuries when someone took a tumble....impressive in a group of adolescent males with no adult g supervision. Loved our day... More
