Beautiful and large park often host to many festivals. This is a dog friendly park with one section referred to as the dog park where people usually let their dogs run around and make friends. All doggy doo's must be cleaned up, there are high fines for not doing so. The boat house has plays during the summer too.

Washington Park was directly across the street from the Morgan State House B&B so I took a walk through it. The flowers were great during early August. Would have loved to have time to walk down to the lake. Lots of locals were enjoying this urban green space!!.

If you have the chance while in Albany in the summer go to a Park Playhouse production! Great shows-both family and kids enjoy this place. Go early and picnic in the park.

Took a nice long walk with our dog through the park. There were many other pets and their parents walking and playing. Nice landscape and plenty of trees for shade. Quiet, relaxing and a great place to stretch your legs and exercise your furkid!

Great park for walking.Parking can be tough. The Park Playhouse puts free summer shows on and they do a fantastic job. Never been disappointed with any of the plays. Can see no matter where your sitting.

Walk, run or ride through this scenic area. Great vistas and picture taking opportunities cost nothing and give you chances to get the 'lay of the land'.

We were staying across the street in the lovely Morgan State House. Being able to stroll around in this beautifully landscaped park was an unexpected treat. The diverse settings are both relaxing and enlivening.
