This is an old type theatre, just the right size. Sound is also good. Have seen a few shows here and have not been disappointed in the venue. Also if arrive early, can find on the street parking within a few blocks.

This is a perfect venue for Broadway shows! Love the decor, similar to an opera house. The acoustics are great and the eats are very comfortable.

My daughter, myself and my grandaughters were thrilled with this performance. We had seen it before some years ago, but this was a first for the 6 year old. She was enthralled as was the 8 year old too (and us too actually). Both granddaughters take ballet and were inspired to watch professionals. We thought the performance was excellent, props... More

Beautiful building....My two oldest children and I went to see a play. We got to sit in the balcony which was awesome! Only issue was: make sure you leave time to park your car. We did find a nearby parking spot, but we did drive around a bit to find it.

Won tickets to Tony Bennett at the Palace - the seats were in the balcony so far up we could hardly see him - we were closer to the ceiling than the stage - I am not a fan of heights - so I did not enjoy our seats at all - As for Tony Bennett he was good for... More

The palace is a nice place to hear music if you have good seats, and we have never had an issue finding parking. It is a nice sized place that I think is best for acoustic type or pop music. The sound can get muddy with big rock groups.

First of all - it is beautiful!!! Really like a palace :) it is great to be able to see shows in Albany, instead of having to go to NYC. Besides that - all seats are facing the stage, so you can well see everything going on... No blocked views. Sound (for concerts) is also very good.... A great place... More

The Palace is a classic old Vaudeville theater and is a great venue for any concert. Every seat is good, the acoustics are wonderful. There are great offerings at the Palace and sometimes there are hidden gems in the concert season- especially the comedians.
