Went to the Jeff Dunham show which was hilarious. The only problem was that the seats don't have enough leg room and are too narrow. Worse than flying in the cheap seats on an airline.

The TU Center needs attention - & some honest advertising... We were in one of the boxes. The bathroom smelled bad (@ 2 PM). Regarding the seating, the armrests - several of them - just fell off: they're not screwed on. Then I got a coffee - there are Dunkin Donuts signs & ads everywhere throughout the TU, including at... Will never attend an event there again! Went to Monster Jam tonight with four year old Grandson who had been sick last week, still on cold meds. Figured we could go to The Pit Party (50 dollars), which ran 4-6 ( we arrived at 4:30. Then we could leave and go sit down relax for dinner and return for the... More

This is a great venue to watch a basketball or hockey game. Viewing is good in all areas. Catch the circus when it is in town or another special show or concert.

Went to see Siena beat up Fairfield College in a basketball game. had seats near the floor, so I felt like we were right in the action. But, I have had seats in many places and levels in the Center and they are mostly all good from a seating point of view. Restrooms leave a bit to be desired because... More

I have seen the greats here: Eric Clapton, Paul Simon, Bob Dylan, and the Dead. I've seen Bobby in several smaller and more intimate venues, and those are significantly better venues for music. By and large, though, these icons don't play the smaller halls, so we fans are condemned to these abominations if we want to hear the greats. For... More

As usual, an awesome show. As for the Times Union Center; security was stepped up with the addition of walk through metal detectors. What a joke. Almost everyone rang going through them and then was pushed to the ticket collector only spot checking a few people. All in all the "extra" added security is a waste of time and money.... More

No matter what its name is, this arena is a very good venue for whatever comes to Albany. From sports to concerts and show s. It has good parking and venders. It's cleaned and ready for the next event.
