We had my sister’s birthday with friends & family on the Dutch Apple Cruise yesterday and can’t say enough about how nice the cruise was. I have lived in the Albany area all my life but I learned things that I never knew about the area along the river from the narrator on the cruise. Seeing the wildlife along the... More

I went on a sightseeing cruise last December and felt in love with this experience. What an enjoyable trip! Fall leaves were beautiful and we got to see an eagle! Boat was very clean, I would definitely come back to do this again and recommend it to my friend.

My retirement party was held on this boat. It was a great time. We cruised for 3 hours. I would have preferred 3 more. Fun was had by all. We hired a DJ who played what was requested. Food was catered by Nicole's of Albany. They are the usual caterers. The food was out of this world. Everyone raved about... More

We timed our tour of the USS Slater and planned a cruise down the Hudson on Dutch Apple Cruises right next to the USS Slater (if you are in the area I highly recommend visiting both). There a clean restroom on the dock, as the USS Slater does not have one. The Dutch Apple has restrooms aboard and both the... More

This cruise today included a wonderful historical narration by 'Henry Hudson' about not only the Albany area, but the evolution of the various industries along the river and the changes which occurred over time, as we traveled south. It was very informative, especially as we cruised down the Hudson river to Castleton-on-Hudson, viewing many beautiful homes along the way. I... More

Two hour boat trip down the Hudson with very informative narration about the river, the city, history of the passing land and homes. We saw many birds including five eagles. Check out the unassuming food cart in front the boat. Food is permitted on the boat. We had a truly delicious burger and fried potato salad. snacks, hotdogs and a full... More

This was a peaceful, quiet, serene way to pass an afternoon. I wouldn't be surprised if some folks dozed off. But not me! I was all ears, listening to our well-informed tour guide, Pat. She allowed ample time for asking questions. It was very interesting to see the riverside of many places and industrial sites in and near Albany. It... More

This cruise was great. Not too long, but not too short. The guide was very friendly and interactive with the passengers, and we saw plenty of beautiful sights, such as a bald eagle in its nest. There were drinks and snacks sold, and we overall had a great afternoon.

Enjoyed the boat ride on the Hudson, we brought our own lunch and drinks but they sell food and have a full bar. Guides name was Pat she was informative and enjoyable. We were able to see a Bald Eagle. Learned a lot about the History of New York State. Would go again.

We spent a very nice 1.5 hours enjoying the afternoon sightseeing cruise on the Dutch Apple cruise boat. This is a three decked boat, and we chose one of the tables on the top deck, which is open, but mostly covered, so we got to enjoy the late spring day, while also enjoying the shade. Our guide was very pleasant,... More
