I wish I could say I liked this cruise better. The staff were really friendly and knowledgeable and the boat was beautifully maintained and a pleasure to ride on. But honestly, there's just not that much to see on this section of the Hudson. We did see an eagle, but the shoreline is mostly industrial ("that mountain of scrap metal... More

From the time you book your trip to the time you dock on the return, the folks at the Dutch Apple make you feel you own the boat. In fact, they tell you that! They bend over backwards to be sure your experience is a great one, and although they can't control the weather, even with rain and wind, you... More

My husband and I took 2 of our grandchildren on this river cruise. Our grandchildren are ages 2 1/2 and 5. I thought that our grandchildren were possibly too young for the trip. I also thought we would be too warm on a boat on an almost 90 degree day. We really enjoyed the trip. Our grandchildren did well. The... More

My friends and I took the cruise to learn a bit about the river and enjoy our lunch on board. We learned about the Dutch connection of the area, the commerce of the shipping in the area. We also go to see 8 eagles along the way. That was amazing in itself. There were herons also. The shoreline history was... More

The boat was very comfortable, the tour guide was outstanding. We learned a lot of history, and even got to see a few bald eagles. Wish it was a longer cruise!

Our group had the whole boat and the food was a buffet dinner. The eggplant parm, in particular, was quite good... as were the desserts. It was a cash bar, but not overly priced, and the bartenders were very friendly.

We were visiting our son and his bride last fall and wanted to see some of the area. We had a lovely afternoon on the water. Our tour guide was very informative, and happy to answer any questions we had. She pointed out several bald eagles, and told us some of the history of the homes along the river. My... More

We were a large group (60+) of college seniors, their friends and families. We wanted to do something together one last time, after being together for 4 years, and the Dutch Apple Sunset Cruise was the perfect outing! We danced, sang, ate, drank and snapped photos on a beautiful float on the Hudson. The staff was great and took all... More

It's a great concept, but not worth what we paid. It's definitely 5 stars if you like seeing old industrial docks and warehouses . If you were expecting to see any of the other beautiful sights on the Hudson River (like us) you will be very disappointed.

We were offered the opportunity to take the cruise through our Parent's weekend package with through Siena College. It was a wonderful time. I must admit when I saw rain in the forecast I was a bit nervous but the lower and middle deck are completely covered and heated (cooled in summer). We were given a discounted rate but after...
