Great beach for children, soft sand, safe water, but shallow for swimming, and plenty of shade in the afternoon. Beach boys are around selling boat trips etc, but they are fine if you say no thank you and just go away.

Fantastic beach to take a walk and a swim and it's accessible just off the main road. The sand there is really fine and milky and the water doesn't get deep too quickly. It's not a busy beach but for a good experience, try to go to the right to get away from all the boats. The water quality is...

This is a lovely beach right in the middle of the island with restaurants and shops closeby. Our hotel was quiet close to it and we walked everyday to this beach. Definitely go there if you are living on Praslin or visiting this island.

It's more accessible than Anse Lazio, however I was not that impressed. Bus drops you just nearby, there are shops and restaurants. Get a fruit plate from the local guy, he is awesome!!! We stayed 2 minutes from Anse Volbert and found it to be a great swimming and walking beach. It was our home beach for a week, and we found it clean, not too busy, and great for swimming. About 2 kms. long, it was a great walk, barefoot in the sand, from one end to the other and back.

Paradise beach with sea as warm as a bath. I am not a keen swimmer and it's wonderful to be able to walk out very far in to the warm sea and only have the water come up to your waist! Very safe for children and so much fun just to sit in the sea and watch the Seychellois world...

Our hotel was on this beach, which is a lovely long white stripe of sand and clean, calm water. Beach is really good for swimming and has some shops/restaurants nearby for when you get hungry/thirsty
