This is part of the main tourist area on the Island, so it can be a bit busy and the beach is not always that clean. Maybe walk towards Paradise Sun's part of the beach. Its a bit cleaner there and you can have some cocktails at the Hotels bar.

Bad experience with beach boy called Roger, got a picture of him if needed. Fake bbq on the beach, he disappears. Went to police after housands of excuses from him, they succeeded in getting half of our money back. He's not the only cheaters, it seems that everybody knows everything but none does nothing. Try not to give them money... More

Nice and quiet beach, it is very large (one of the biggest we;ve seen) so you hardly see the other people. Water is good for swimming but not so clear for snorkeling Not the best of Praslin but worth a day

A great place to visit; while not the best beach on the island in terms of "a beach", Anse Volbert has a lot more to do in terms of restaurants, shops, bars, etc than anywhere else we found. A great place to spend either a day or an evening.

Lovely beach for swimming...Also loads of activities are available to book on the beach at Anse Volbert by various operators. Good choice of restaurants catering to all tastes and budgets. Lovely curio shops too! Visited in April 2014

This is a nice beach in Praslin, although not as nice as Georgette or Lazio, but far from them. Still, if you have kids, this is the place to go, very child friendly, lot of bars + restaurants + shops + atm and hotels. Also the taxi boats to go to Curieuse leave from here. The sand is white, water... More

This is definitely one of the prettiest beaches in Praslin and the surrounding islands. It was nice that our hotel was right on the beach - so we could get up and have a nice morning staring at the blue sea and the three islands across. A beautiful beautiful beach! Must visit!

Ok, the beach is nice BUT the town has no charm, history or character. The beach is like thousand other. It's clean and the water color is emerald green. Ok, I get it. But it's a 10+ hour flight from Europe and a 20+ hour flight from the U.S. with a big price tag. Volbert is not pretty or unique,... More

a bit crowded and lots of seaweeds, not much scenery. Better beach available if you drive / travel further from this spot.

A fairly large beach for the Seychelles, Anse Volbert is beautiful for long walks, but no less pretty! Water is slightly more murky, but still beautiful to swim in. We got to experience the view of the beach and St Pierre from our hotel every morning!
