Not an exilerating tour but very relaxing and worth the visit. The entarnce fee is quite dear but goes to a good cause and is an excellent project.

The famous coconuts and the palm trees are indeed very impressive. Go for the big walk, it is not much longer than the others.

Vallee de Mai is nothing like the grand, beautiful beaches of Seychelles. Instead, it is an excellent adventure to enjoy yourself in the nature of Praslin island and learn a little bit about its history. A good guide is recommended as they would be able to explain about the variety of species living there, including the Coco de Mer.

We spent many happy hours here in the warm pouring rain. The wide sandy paths were easy to walk along. An interesting place for all ages. There's toilets a shop and a good cafe. Well worth a day's excursion. Local buses go here.

Vallee de Mai is worth visiting.. But I would book a private guide if I am to return there. The free guided tour is quite boring and the guide kept repeating the same stuff over and over again. A guide is in my opinion mandatory if you don't want to miss the most interesting fauna & flora in the park... More

Loved the giant palm fronds and Coco De Mer. Enjoyed trying to spot the elusive black parrot. disliked the spiders and webs. gak!

We spent a tranquil couple of hours here amougst the palms and coco de mer . Do not expect an exciting time but do expect to be wowed bythe sheer size of these palm trees and coco de mere nuts The walks are very well laid out witH various options. there are guided walks available which sounded very informative but... I'll admit the coco de mer are pretty cool, I'm just not sure it warrants the price of tickets and taxi fare to get there. It's certainly a unique destination, but probably one I would skip if I had it to do again.

As someone who is interested in the environment, I found the visit to this UNESCO site most informative and educational. 20 euros may seem a bit expensive, but if this helps to conserve the Coco de Mer ecosystem then I am more than happy to pay it. There are free guided tours available but we preferred to walk by ourselves... More
