We visited it one afternoon in late October. Our guide proved very knowledgeable and funny. I've never seen such beautiful palm trees, especially coco de mer palms. There were fruit bats around and lots of birds. It was so lovely to walk through this forest. It's a must see on Pralin. more

There is a 15 EUR per adult fee to enter the park. You will be given an information pamphlet which contains the trail map. Guided tours leave on demand and cost 10 EUR. The information pamphlet, along with information boards around the park give similar information to the guided tour. A loop can be done taking in most of the... more

My wife and I visited here a couple of years ago, we were staying on Mahe which is about one hour by cat coco catermaran from Mahe.One must allow a good half day to do the "walk,s through the Vallee de Mai",we were lucky enough to see the Black parrot whilst there, but we were also unlucky to be there... more
