The trees here are the main event -- they are absolutely amazing -- the size of the fronds will blow you away. However, this is the only place we managed to see the very elusive and rare black parrot during our 15 days in the Seychelles. I would highly recommend a visit to Praslin and the Vallee de Mai. more

We visited it one afternoon in late October. Our guide proved very knowledgeable and funny. I've never seen such beautiful palm trees, especially coco de mer palms. There were fruit bats around and lots of birds. It was so lovely to walk through this forest. It's a must see on Pralin. more

There is a 15 EUR per adult fee to enter the park. You will be given an information pamphlet which contains the trail map. Guided tours leave on demand and cost 10 EUR.
