This was wonderful seeing the size of the sea. It is like a huge lake. You can swim in parts of it (we could swim near our hotel). We went on a boat ride and ate a fish called 'St Peters' fish from the sea of galilee. They are two must see/eats of the Sea or Galilee

After such a hot, exhausting day it was nice to experience walking into the Sea of Galikee. There were tiny fish that swam up close to us. It was a spiritual experience to stand there and reflect on all that Jesus did with the Disciples. The church next to the water was beautiful as well.

70 km driving along the lake side with many stops which you can eat and visit. Kursi is a place often being ignored but must have a look, I mean the National Park.

What else can I say? It's beautiful and peaceful. Don't forget to go for a boat ride, and try to recall the many encounters the Disciples had with Jesus.

The Sea of Galilee was one of my highlights on my trip to Israel. I enjoyed the experience of cruising on the Lake on the Jesus Boat. Some may consider their presentation a little corny but I found the experience with our group very moving as well as informative and Fun

The water is clean and refreshing and the boat ride was delightful. One of the crew taught our group how to do the Hora Dance, they did a demonstration of casting a fishnet (we didn't catch anything), and they even hung our flag from the mast. We had perfect weather, the crew were helpful, and the captain did a good... More

I.liked the lake. There are some.boats there from Turkey. I wonder how they brought that big boats from Turkey to the lake. May be they built them there. Anyway the port is a little bit dirty but the place has an attraction. You are below the sea level like dead sea. It is very interesting. I was there in December... More

Took a sail with traditional looking boat from the pier. A good experience especially when there was strong wind and rain heavily. The boat attempted to dock few times - very thrilling and exciting :-)

Our group went out on a boat on the Sea of Galilee. The captain sang songs. The experience of this beautiful boat ride along with the knowledge that this is the very sea that Jesus walked on water was mind boggling. We laughed together, we prayed together and we were in awe of what we were experiencing. It was beautiful.
