Nazareth is a bustling crowded 21st century city - even the main churches are modern. This recreation of life in rural Nazareth around the time of Jesus makes it much easier to put the biblical stories in their setting. The walking is rough and the tour wouldn't have been suitable for the mobility challenged. Our guide (Tally) was great.

Kudos to Nazareth Village for building a living exhibit of what life was like is Jesus's day. What a great beginning to our 10 day Israel Tour. Would highly recommend.

This is a must-see in Nazareth. The city of today is modern and sprawling and it is very hard to get a good impression of what it would have been like as a first century Palestinian village, so that is exactly what they have created here. You are taken around by a guide (phone ahead to find out when tours... More

Our guide, I believe her name was Maria, led us through the village. She was inspiring on this tour. She took parts out of the old testament in relation to our Lord Jesus. Thank you for this inspiring tour! It was a highlight on our day!

So worth the travel time!! Locals and volunteers from abroad demonstrate daily life in the first century. Plus, they give each visitor a small clay oil lamp as a souvenir!!

Quite interesting to see this museum which is supposed to show us what life was like in the times of Christ. Interesting because in the modern city, it is easy to forget how it was 2000 years ago. The guides are in period dress, which adds to the flavor of the place.

Nazareth Village is a living history museum that gives you the archaeological and living history of how people lived in the time of Jesus. This is a must on any stop through Nazareth, and anybiblical tour that one might be on. Volunteers dress in period style, and you can sit and have a meal of first century cuisine. It will... More

Nazareth Village is a set-piece attraction developed in one of the few undeveloped sites in the middle of Nazareth. Exiting from the main building & its displays & toilet facilities, you walk through the countryside, viewing a shepherd at work, with sheep & (very hungry) goats, passing an old tomb on the way. The ground is a bit up &... More

Nazareth is all about the life and times of the man. Jesus Christ and I loved the Nazareth Village because the "villagers" and the tour guides really brought this little oasis of first century Nazareth to life. The world wide profile of this town is so high, being the town that Jesus lived in for the major part of his... More
