People here live exactly as they did 2000 years ago, so its a first hand experience of 1st Century lifestyle. Our group also had food served at their dining hall and it was delicious but different from what I m normally used to. They also have a replica of the tomb similar to the one Jesus was buried in so... More

This was a great opportunity for myself and my family to get some insight into the time period lifestyle of Christ. Everyone on the staff from getting tickets to the walk around the village to eating to the gift store were kind and helpful.

I am not usually keen on "models" and touristy stuff. I teach archaeology and New Testament courses. The village, though, did a great job of showing first-century life. My students found it quite illuminating. I did ask the guide for the "hurry up" tour and he was quite agreeable and covered everything I thought we needed. I will definitely do... More

The slow pace and serenity of the atmosphere around Nazareth was quaint and charming. There are few tourist attractions to visit and souk markets dotted amongst the tourist streets. It was quiet which suited our needs making it easier for us to get a "feel" for the place. The people we encountered were reserved and curious but our guide warned... More

I visit along with brother and sisters from Calvary chapel Rancho Cucamonga, and others. I was pleasantly surprise! I did not expect so much beauty! The best part was for me is the meal!!! Every one was so pleasant! I just loved Hananna! To God be the glory!

This recreation is extremely well done! It has a great movie, very good guides, and a fantastic meal of the period to go with it. It gives a very clear picture of life during the time of Jesus and isn't just a building but grounds like there would have been with some old buildings and a weaver. There is a... More

As a Tour Guide in Israel, Nazareth Village is one of my favorite stops when I guide Christian tourists. The guides there are knowledgeable and speak excellent English. Nazareth Village does an excellent job recreating a Jewish Village in the First Century CE (AD). My clients have found the Village both inspirational and educational and I enjoy building on the... We were given a good lunch then shown the oil press, a cistern and a synagogue but the guide let slip that there wasca wine press from 1st century and because Jesus grew up in Nazareth there was a high probability that he had used it. When I expressed great interest the guide said it would take too long, then... More
