We thoroughly enjoyed this ancient site with its donkey-driven olive oil press, operating carpenter's shop, operating wool shop, flock of sheep, knowledgeable guides in period dress, etc., on the ruins of the village of Jesus' day. You felt that you were stepping back 2,000 years in time. A visit well worth your time, and especially of interest to children. Blessings

One of the few places in Israel that has truly preserved a first-century experience. Very educational and hospitable. Staff was wonderful.

When you visit to this place, you will say this is the moment. What a moment? The moment we will know about the childhood of Jesus Christ from Nazareth. Although this place just a village, but you will enjoying the hospitality of Nazareth people. You must come and visit this place.

Went there in a group. The guides are excellent and explain well the site with extensive quotations from the Bible. This is the reconstruction of a first century village. The reconstruction is most instructive and will give you a fair idea of ordinary life at the time. There are also actors to render the place more lively, all dressed in... More

A well laid out village laid out on a slope to recreate first century Nazareth, complete with actors and animals and artefacts. This gives life to the animals, objects and people that we read about in the Bible and helps us relate to what we read, It was interesting to see the wine press, the watch tower, all the different... This is a great place! We had a great volunteer tour guide who knew a lot about the settings of the NT and really brought things to life for us. I was super excited because i got to pat a donkey (in Nazareth). They have people dressed up in old traditional costumes to suit the NT time and setting. It... More

I have come here with groups maybe a dozen times and it is always a hit, regardless of where the visitors come from. The exhibits are well-laid out, they on-site guides are excellent, there are people roaming around the site dressed like Jews of the 1st century - ready to talk and have a photo taken. The wine-press, olive oil... More

This place was great! It really gives a sense of life in Bible times. Our guide Nathaniel was knowledgeable and answered our questions. I only wish we had more time to spend there.

Our entire group loved it. We wer a group of parents, a grandparent, and two boys aged 7 & 11. We really went for the boys, but we all loved it. Also we were able to join in on another group for the biblical lunch. That was great.
