soft sand makes walking difficult

Nice beach and there is a walkway to Kuta, I like to stroll in the surf and I found the sand is too soft

Good view. Just not recommended for swim because seaweed everywhere. But there is another spot you can visit for swimming. Be careful your step on the beach's sand ;)

We did not swim at this beach but ran along it a few times. You can see the area is trying to develop but it is not yet set as a tourist beach. Many other beaches nearby accessible by motor scooter which can be hired easily for $5/day around Kuta (petrol is $0.90/bottle). We didn't like the rabid dogs everywhere,... More

So many bad things about this beach: children selling (and not taking no for an answer) lots of rubbish, no restaurants, a crumbling pavement type thing that goes down the length of it. It would be quite nice if humans didn't ruin it but its just terrible. There are 2 amazing beaches on either side of Kuta about 10 minutes... More

Unfortunately Kuta Lombok beach is becoming a pretty dirty place where no one wants to stay except for some surfers but actually there is much better places nearby like Ekas or Mawun beach. Since there is not enough tourists, the locals are becoming obnoxious.

Must visit: Tanjung Aan, Merese Hill, Seger Beach and Mandalika Beach. Go to Novotel resort to get the best accomodation. They have a pool bar, beach front restaurant.

It was very very hot when we were there. There were almost no people on that beach lol. We were there for like less than 30 minutes. My parents couldn't stay there any longer because it was way too hot for them. Anyway, It's a nice beach I guess. The downside was there were way too many people selling stuff.... More

Although the beaches around Kuta are more quiet... this beach in the centre of area Kuta is amazing... enjoy the activity of local fisherman or be part of the monthly one day gathering of every time an other Sasak-family-group who than socialize, gossip and eat together!!!

It was amazing - short ride from Kuta city, Lombok (well, its more like a village). We arrived to the beach and nobody was there - except white send and palm trees and perfect turquise water. I highly recommend going there - much nicer and less crowded then Gili islands.
