I was underwhelmed by this excursion, but I think my expectations were a little off. I was looking for a vigorous hike through the jungle to be rewarded with a beautiful waterfall and swim. The waterfalls are beautiful, but the hike is minimal (most people can do it in flipflops) and the location is so crowded that I didn't really... More

Mogli was our guide: patient and considerate young man who was friendly and understanding. Lots of steps but interesting. Saw monkeys and the waterfall was refreshing.

Stunning natural waterfall, we only went to Sendang Gile as it rained heavily when we went there. We had a guide who provided snacks & drinks, but actually you can go on your own like other people, as the trail is pretty straightforward. The trek is around 20 mins on a paved way with stairs, and still walk-able during wet... More

Its the best place to end after visiting Mount Rinjani. After a nice stay at nearby chalet we woke up the next morning & explored the waterfall. The view of the waterfall was just breathtaking & it took us about 1/2hour to reach the Sendang Gile. To get to another waterfall it took us about 20 minutes of walking (Tiu... More

Nice place to visit with your friend, but unrecommended if you bring your 5 y.o child or under, because to reach this place we must to pass through a lot of stairs up and down. This place is good for you to loss some weight. But anyways its worth it, cause the waterfall is very pretty and still natural. My... More

We took a trip to this waterfalls at the slope of Mount Rinjani. We went there by rental car and parked near the first waterfall Sendang Gile. You pay a small fee and you descend a good maintained stair/footpath to this nice waterfall. The second waterfall, the Tiu Kelep is about 45 minutes further walk. Mostly over good paved paths,... The short trek (about 20 mins) to the 1st waterfall is a gentle walk. Unfortunately my parents had to turn back mid way with concerns to rain, slippery steps and a pair of shoes without soles. Our guide was patient and well prepared with ponchos and drinks. I have to agree with most the price is steep and a guide... More

Layered water flows, cool air and green scenery are attractions that you can enjoy when you visit Sendang Gile Waterfall. This waterfall comes from the top of the cliff and fell into the river beneath. The water cascades in a steep vertical drop down the hillside into a rocky stream below. Basically relatively flat, so a lot of people who... More
