Visited Thalassa resort in March for 5 days, the rainy season without rain.. We had one of the roomy chalets with sea view, the best shower ever, loads of plugs which came in handy to recharge all the camera and lighting batteries. Diving well organised - as you would expect from a resort run by Simone :-) - dive staff... More

After more than 4 years of absence we came back again for diving to Thalassa. We were received as old friends byf the management and the staff which we still recognised. We felt at home right from the first minute we had arrived. The set up of the facilities can be judged perfect for families as well as is for... More

Wow, I have read some of the comments on this dive resort and need to comment: Disclaimer: I dive and travel around the world, (as most of you readers) for the past 10 (plus) years. Mostly now in Asia, at least 3 months a year.. This is my third review of any facility for TripAdvisior. in those ten years, I... More

My Girlfriend and I came to Thalassa for a day trip of diving after having spent a week on Bunaken Island and diving with other operators based on the Island. While the dive operators on the Island itself were friendly and accommodating, diving with Thalassa was unlike anything I have ever experienced (I have been diving for years with dozens... More

Just great staff to help you with your stay. Wonderful scuba diving in Bunaken marine park. Diving activities were well planned every day. Equipment was good and very well mantained. The local dive guides really top notch. The visibility at Bunaken was 75 feet plus every day. Super great place to go DIVING! Loved it and want to go back!

First come, I think will stay at a resort, but it is totally different. What was shown through photographs is different than the reality. It turned out that I stay in a villa in the countryside. The Room without a television and telephone connection, hot shower water passable, and many insects. Wifi is not accessible from inside the room. To... More

There is a difference between judging something based on Information or on an assumption. Not with a single word it is mentioned on our website that the rooms are equipped with television and telephone connection. We are a Dive Resort and not a Business Hotel! It has also to be said that the author of this comment has not even... More

Having come frame Kasawari resort in Lembeh we were expecting a similar experience. What we got was a hilltop room, an A/C that could not keep the room cool and a bathroom with fixtures that looked like they were purchased at a garage sale ( the toilet barely worked and squirted water when flushed). The walls and floors had cracks... More

Thalassa does 'everything it says on the tin'. A comfortable and relaxing place to stay and go diving. We stayed in a cottage and it was spacious and had a great wet-room bathroom. Thalassa is full of smiles as promised and the service is excellent throughout. The dive operation is well run and organised with the dives leaving as scheduled.... More

We only stayed here for 4 days / 3 nights. As we were travelling from Komodo to Raja Ampat Bunaken seemed to be a nice place to relax for a couple of days and do some diving as well. The resort is ok, rooms are spacious and clean (we stayed in one of the Cottages). Breakfast, lunch and dinner tasted... More

We promote the Care & Carry Service as one of Thalassa’s amenities: The guests neither have to bring their equipment to the boat nor they have to wash it by themselves. We do our best to prevent that our guests have to carry their equipment at any time by themselves and we apologize for any nonconformities. More
