One of the very few restored buildings in kota lama, worth a visit! It is often closed and there is a service on sunday, but the guy told me that at 9 in the morning it is open.

This small beautiful church is located in the old section of Semarang. It has been carefully maintained and within walking distance to Tawang train station.

I had a quick stop outside of the church and take several photo of it. It is sad that the so called famous goat satay restaurant is close that day, so i try the other branch of the satay, but it also turn out the satay in the jl. Teuku umar, has a casual goat satay taste with nothing special.... More

This unique octagonal church -- oldest in the region -- dates back to 1753. The original rattan chairs are still in use today as is the original black, yellow and white tiled floor. Located in the old town.

I can't imagine if I'm as a member come to their service. I can feel any old architectural, nice performance and good design... They still have old chair, very cool and I'd love this place. Especially wen we want to take a picture from inside !!

Located in and old town of Semarang, Gereja Blenduk is a must visit place in Semarang if you're a photo enthusiast. Once you visit there, do not forget to spare your time to visit the satay restaurant across the street. It's the best Satay in Semarang by far...

Old Semarang is run down, and I think Gereja Blenduk is the only thing that is most maintained. Didn't had chance to look inside as there was a service happening, but well worth the visit. The park around it is also nice.
