Old dutch building, and not a very good one at that. Is still a functioning church. The whole 'old Semarang' area is quite interesting though, as it is mostly well preserved.

This church was built in the mid 18th century during the Dutch colonisation. It was still being used today for Sunday services or wedding ceremony. It's located in the old town part of Semarang, surrounded by many old buildings. The church was very well maintained. Entering the church requires a small fee (around USD 2 per person). Too many vehicles pass through this location so you have to bee careful if you want to cross over to take a camera shoot.

The architecture lighting ambiance was romantic. Stroll along the old town district from this point at night. And do park your car here, looks like the safest place around (police officers seen nearby).

It's a nice little church but I'm not sure it was worth the taxi fares getting there and then on to the next place. Visiting takes about ten minutes.

Located on the old city area of Semarang (Kota Tua Semarang). The church is surrounded with old buildings. Some of them is sadly neglected. During rainy season, the area is often flooded by Rob (high tide flood from the sea).

I came here in the morning, even though the church is not too big many activities held in the park in front of the church. If you are lucky you can meet with old city community wearing retro style

Visited here at nite time and it was closed alredy..... Surrounded by old buildings, this area is said to be flooded when big rain.... If the local government make up this place, this could be a great historic place.
