One of the oldest landmark in Kota Lama, built in 1753. Located opposite the famous Jiwasraya building. The surrounding buildings are being used for the Church community, one of them has a stunning light blue color and is all made from wood. Opposite is a public park called Taman Srigunting, which attracts the local crowds during weekends.

It was very nice to see such an old building in good condition. The old part of Semarang is really improving. I hope this church gets many visitors in the future.

This building is so historical and exquisite. This stands out of all buildings in kota lama. I like walking around this church. The surroundings are also nice to look at too. There is a market nearby selling vintage stuffs.

Don't just enjoy it from the outside, it would only take 10 mins if you do. Best visited in the morning for great lighting inside the structure. Oh, there is also a great resto across this location, forgot the name but its also of old design.

Placed in Kota Lama along with a lot of other historical building. Maybe this church is the most well maintained because it still used by christian every sunday. Real name is GPIB Immanuel, but people called it Greja Blendug. Too bad when I visited this place, we are prohibited to go inside the building because tourist may leave some dirt... More

The church is a relic of history. Established in 1753 in the reign of the Dutch East Indies. Currently become one of the buildings are preserved. Good for photography, it's just the location that is crowded with vehicles so beware.

Not sure what to say. Nice old church from the outside in a great location with many old buildings, but the church was closed and we couldn't get in. We were there on a Sunday at midday and one would think that's when a church would normally be open. Anyway we were told to come back next morning and look... More
