Ask for the cafe that s where the nice place is

The garden is not well maintained unless you ask for the cafe/ restaurant, that s where heaven is (literally).. The cafe is pricy but worthwhile..

Pretty boring and there is a lot of garbage in the gardens. Nothing special and looks like a regular park.

The gardens are extensive and cover hundreds of acres. The Indonesian Presidents summer palace and a zoo are also colocated. There are examples of many tree from all over Asia set in a network of roads and footpaths. There is no traffic other than park service vehicles so it is very safe on foot. There is a good restaurant in... More

This Botanical Garden was built during Dutch occupation. It is located next to historical building Bogor Palace. The park is huge and it has variety of tropical trees and plants. It is well maintained and is now visited for family picnic.

This place is huge, so you can say it's a forest miniature. This "forest" has many unique & beautiful flora, and there are some good spots for any photo hunters, if not photographers. Unfortunately, I spotted many rubbish & plastics everywhere. It's a shame for such a great botanical garden.

I went there on a weekend, there were a lot of people in this garden. It has a lot of unique flora and some spots are great for pictures. However, the cleanliness needs to be improved. There were rubbish everywhere, and the "river" or stream was full of plastic bags and bottles. Rangers should enforce strict rules and punish these... More

Went with young children and spent a great half day walking around the gardens. There is a lot of work going on which means some areas are not accessible but there's still plenty to see. The restaurant is a fantastic spot to enjoy a drink and great food at the end of the day.

This is where the Dutch company control Batavia in the old day. The Raflesia (bunga Bangkai) also grow in this place. Old trees from many places also grow here. This is a one place you must visit when you are in Bogor. Welcome
