The name Dago is popular as one of the highlands in Bandung that is cool and beautiful. But that is further up North, and definitely not in Pasar Dago. This place is dirty and smelly, as the market opens very early in the morning and makes it worse for the traffic as well.

A number of man made caves in the side of a river valley now made into a park with walking trails etc. The most interesting cave is the very large complex of caves, almost a labrynth, built by slave labour during the Japanese occupation. Worth the 15 minute walk from the car park down the path down thevalley side to... More

I prefer to buy stuff in stores with prices clearly labeled and no fuss or hustle but hagglers and shopaholics might enjoy this place beyond having just a quick look around to take some pictures....

PASAR DAGO - Pasar Dago Bandung, an attraction only for those who are not faint-hearted! The reason why I say so is because you will be entering “shoppers heaven” in the wholesale industry! Take a bus and do not forget your camera! On the way you will see the “real Bandung” which is absolutely amazing! Just before the PASAR DAGO... More
