The museum is rather wore out but it may be fine for young local visitors. When the museum was crowded and in the weekend it is a challenge to find parking lot and enjoy the visit.

I don't think that it is the great museum. The museum is so dark and scarying. If you want to take pictures, you really need flash light. No guide offered museum tour. Some rooms were locked. It was because of the building renovation. You'll see a lot of collection in this museum. Such as rock, timber, human, animal, etc. However,... More

Have a recommendation from my friend about this museum. Not sure for the first. But when i went there with my husband and son, they love the museum. Especially my 8th years old son, he's very excited with the T rex bones. and all of the history of human. But it must add more light to the museum. The entrance... More

Me and my family visit this museum. I've been here couple times but for my little brother it's his first time. So he really exited to visit and look around. The most fascinating is, T-REX! It's really big and looks scary. I wonder if I lived in Dinosaur Era :)) In this museum, have a lot of history about geology... More

I have been to many museums in Indonesia and have been pretty disappointed by all of them -mainly because of the lack of care in all of them. The geology museum was quite nice however. It was well kept, had clear information about its items, and had many interactive displays. Definitely should stop here if you're spending a few days... More

It is really a worth visit to go there. I went there with my whole family member and all my kids love the place so much! Even the replicas look just like they were real.

me and my husband are osteology enthusiast, so this museum is the first on the to-go-list when we visit Bandung together. The collection is extensive, especially for human skulls history and its explanation, while it could've been better for other species - but hey, it's geology museum, not osteology! :)) the display is good for its placement (small kids can... Museum Geology is one of my favourite museum in Indonesia which is located in the vintage city in Indonesia (I think :)). Surrounded by the old buildings from Netherland creates image that this museum is worth to see. The most attracted thing to see in this museum is T-Rex replica which amazes us how big it is and how scary... More

Rumor says it's the biggest Geology Museum in Indonesia. The collection was surprisingly extensive. Some of them were stolen in the past which is a pity. I wish the authorities can develop this place into a better museum.

I liked the T-Rex. The sculpture display and Geo-batik was a timely bonus but the Indonesian section being closed was not so timely. The displays had their Linnaean name which was good. Some displays even had English notes to read. It was a fun place if you like geology.
