Like : Very educational. Dislike : To also have the description in English. All were in Bahasa Indonesia and it is a bit difficult to understand.

This is the first time I visited this museum before its renovation back in 2012. I initially thought that this museum would be as boring as it used to be, with very little interesting things other than the gemstones. When I was about to enter the museum, I was surprised that now there is an entrance fee to enter the... More

A lot of information on the volcanoes in the area. What more interesting is you are visiting a museum of geology in a setting surrounded by real volcanoes!

Have visited this museum so many times since childhood. On the latest visit I saw a couple rooms has been added (one one other room was being renovated). I applaud this spirit of educating Indonesian people. I do hope that more people would come and learn.

Pretty good for an Indonesian museum: Downstairs there's a lot of fossils crammed into a space too small for them, including a giant turtle, T-Rex and some pre-elephants. Upstairs you've got some exhibits that look like they could be interactive but you can't push the buttons, and a small earthquake simulator that was broken - hopefully it actually will be... More

Our second visit to this museum after we heard that there was a new collection in the museum. It was a giant elephant replica. My kids enjoyed the visit and the read all the information on each display. The cleanliness was good and the information display was clear. Our favorite area was the room with T-Rex replica. We also watched... More
