Had to agree that this is the best museum in Bandung (in Indonesia?)

A lot of information on the volcanoes in the area. What more interesting is you are visiting a museum of geology in a setting surrounded by real volcanoes!

Have visited this museum so many times since childhood. On the latest visit I saw a couple rooms has been added (one one other room was being renovated). I applaud this spirit of educating Indonesian people. I do hope that more people would come and learn.

Pretty good for an Indonesian museum: Downstairs there's a lot of fossils crammed into a space too small for them, including a giant turtle, T-Rex and some pre-elephants. Upstairs you've got some exhibits that look like they could be interactive but you can't push the buttons, and a small earthquake simulator that was broken - hopefully it actually will be... More

Our second visit to this museum after we heard that there was a new collection in the museum. It was a giant elephant replica. My kids enjoyed the visit and the read all the information on each display. The cleanliness was good and the information display was clear. Our favorite area was the room with T-Rex replica. We also watched... More

If your children (or youself) are into dinosaur, then this is the place! there's a mammoth fossil right at the entrance. Other than fossil, we also able to learn about mineral (oil, rocks, gas) etc. Overall it's an entertaining yet educative experience

The place has very informative and interesting information, many fossil replicas dino age creatures. Just so unfortunate that they kept the original fossil locked up and on replicas are exhibited. Still cool. Glad i visit as it was interesting. But the staff need to improve on their hospitality, coz some of them were quite rude in the souvenir shop.
