It is really a worth visit to go there. I went there with my whole family member and all my kids love the place so much! Even the replicas look just like they were real.

me and my husband are osteology enthusiast, so this museum is the first on the to-go-list when we visit Bandung together. The collection is extensive, especially for human skulls history and its explanation, while it could've been better for other species - but hey, it's geology museum, not osteology! :)) the display is good for its placement (small kids can... Museum Geology is one of my favourite museum in Indonesia which is located in the vintage city in Indonesia (I think :)). Surrounded by the old buildings from Netherland creates image that this museum is worth to see. The most attracted thing to see in this museum is T-Rex replica which amazes us how big it is and how scary... More

Rumor says it's the biggest Geology Museum in Indonesia. The collection was surprisingly extensive. Some of them were stolen in the past which is a pity. I wish the authorities can develop this place into a better museum.

I liked the T-Rex. The sculpture display and Geo-batik was a timely bonus but the Indonesian section being closed was not so timely. The displays had their Linnaean name which was good. Some displays even had English notes to read. It was a fun place if you like geology.

Geology Museum in Bandung could have been better if the local government and Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) are working together. There is a potential for more visitors if they could collaborate and make it a real science museum. We need a quality exhibition not amateurs displaying rocks and minerals. The display is very average and no imagination whatsoever. Caption... More

After 23 years in Indonesia I visited the geology museum with the Director Pak Iwan, Kinez Riza and Rudy Hartanto. This was an exhibition of art and science. I was impressed by the quality of the exhibitions and what I learned about Indonesian history and geology.

Every educative place. The explanations are in bhasa indonesia and hence it lacks the English translation. The collection of rock and minerals were impressive.

Do not go to this place if you are ever in Bandung. Although we didn't expect much from this museum but it was a total waste of time. If you were just like us trying to find a place to avoid the early afternoon heat from the street, go find youself a cafe. Anywhere would be better than this boring... More

We visited the geology museum on our last trip. Was surprised, in a good way, at the entrance ticket price. Rp 3,000 for adults and Rp 2,000 for children. Keeps us occupied for a few hours. Interesting to look at the fossils. There are some english language but most of it is in Indonesian. Interesting place.
