We took a class there and made our own silver jewellery and it was great fun. The rest of my family was not that keen on doing this, but once we were there and working time flew by and now everyone wants to go back and do some more! So worth while taking some time to learn a new skill,... More

This was a great thing to do, and I surprised myself with the very wearable piece of jewellery I managed to craft! It is all very doable, however my experience differs from many of the reviews, so am presuming I must have caught Tetuk on an 'off day'. There was myself and a group of three girls, however Tetuk was... More

Three of us did the three hour workshop this week. None of us had any experience or any idea about silver smithing. We all left with wearable silver jewellery that looked professional (and none of our friends believed that we had made it within the three hour class)!!! Great fun and will be going back again on our next visit... More

Had a great morning with Tetuk. Hubby and I made 2 pieces each (pendants and rings), with the first 5grams of silver each included in the cost of tuition (350,000rupiah@). Tetuk gave easy instructions and was very patient. He also did the difficult job of soldering for everyone (so would be suitable for kids). You didn't need to have a... More

Studio Perak has three silver shop outlets that all sell beautifully hand crafted pieces, but only one shop offers the highly popular Silversmithing courses. At around $30 Us, including 5 grams of silver, the four hour course is both interesting and creative. Using the local tools and techniques, it is fun for both adults and kids.Loads of fun and highly... More

Firstly, you will be amazed by the outcome! Me and my girlfriend made rings for each other and we are very happy with them. They honestly look like they were bought from a shop!! They look fantastic and we will treasure them for the rest of our lives. We enjoyed the experience and it was the highlight of our holiday... More

I am hopeless at the manual crafts and so creating a piece of jewellery with help from Ketut in under three hours was quite an achievement. I am proud to wear my pedant and enjoy telling people that I made it. I undertook the experience with my two 20+ daughters who really enjoyed the experience. One made two rings and... More

I regularly take groups of women to Bali and every year we attend a silver smith class at Studio Perak and are amazed and the beautiful pendants and earrings that can be made in such a short period of time. You do all the work yourself, with guidance, but it is your design. I have to say there is a... More
