The sparse crowds and the aesthetically rich vistas remind one of why people from around the world come to Bali. The trail starts at the historical origin of Ubud, the confluence (or Campuhan) of the Wos Rivers. « less

A fantastic ridge walk that really shows off the beauty of Ubud. I got a taxi to Club Koko and wandered across the top of the ridge down to the Campuan bridge. A really easy and short walk, with great vistas and tons of photo perfect scenes. I would go as far as to say that this is a MUST... More

This was extremely refreshing walk. Lots of green grass, beautiful view and fresh air. Starts near ibah hotel. Best time to go would be early in morning or just before sunset.

we went there during the sunset, well kinda scary, first I saw a huge snake like 1,5 merest long, then it was soooo crowded with local teenagers I felt uncomfortable, then someone told us that there was a robbery there, japanese tourist girls for robbed, they expensive cameras got stolen! well not that i had anything valuable with me besides... I did all the reading and it was a must do when in Ubud. Unfortunately, it was not what we expected. We entered from the Ibah hotel and followed the signs to Karza Cafe. You really don't see very much at the beginning of the walk as you are walking on the top of the ridge and just see long... More

This is a lovely walk (not trek!) from Ubud to clear the mind and escape the ceaseless chants of "Taxi sir? Tomorrow sir? Massage madame? Tomorrow perhaps?". It begins a short walk from the main Monkey Forrest strip - a few kilometers from anywhere. (I would assume if you're looking for a walk to do, then you'd probably be happy... More

This is an absolute must in Ubud start near the Ibah hotel there are some small signs to follow to Karsa Cafe. The walk is so peacful and beautiful best to do this walk early in the morning before it gets too hot this feels like you are far away from the bustling streets of Ubud and its so nice... More

This is a lovely trail/hike/trek/journey that starts by Ibah Hotel. It is definitely a nice jog away from the busy Ubud. Whatever your reasons for taking this trek/trail/hike/journey, it is undeniably rejuvenating to take in some fresh air and to experience the beauty of the rice paddies. I often go beyond Karsa Cafe and go into town. The rice paddies... More

We hiked the Campuhan (Tjampuhan) Ridge Trail at 6:40 am when it is still cool. If you are on Jl. Raya Ubud, look for the Ibah Hotel, follow the signs for Karza Cafe and that will take you on the trail. As you start your hike, immediately to your left you will see a temple: Pura Gununglebah, built in the... More

Skip the drive all the way to the more well known rice fields in Bali and just spend the afternoon hiking the Campuhan Ridge Trail in Ubud. It is beautiful. You can hike up, have a glass of lemonade at Karsa Cafe and then watch the sunset over the rice paddies. And Karsa will arrange for a taxi back to... More

Saw this walking trail in the lonely planet guide book so decided to give it a go.. be warned if you start at jala raya sangingnan and walk upwards, it is not signposted so you have to rely on locals to guide you there! The ridge itself is beautiful with stunning views and like a previous reviewer mentioned, it is... More
