Nothing you can't buy everywhere else in Bali Prices not spectacularly low, of course you have to haggle and sellers are aggressive which gets old Commercial and a lot of the same stuff from kiosk to kiosk

We came across Ardy without recommendation however would absolutely recommend him here to Ubud visitors. We had photos of items we wanted made (man's travel wallet and women's shoulder bag). Ardy listened to the brief, did exactly as asked, quick and really, really great prices. His shop is at JL, Sugriwa, Ubud. We would suggest sending photos of items you... More

This is about more than shopping. I have been coming to Ubud for 14 years and I lived here for 18 months. There have been many changes - good and bad. The best changes are that it is much cleaner, much fewer dog problems, much better footpaths and much less "forceful" taxi touts. The worst changes are the westernisation of... More

Ubud is definitely the cultural center in Bali. Thousands of shops & temples, restaurants, bars, thousands of tourists and millions of bikes...My advice is to have a hired driver taking you to the city center for walking around & shopping. You must visit Monkey Forest in Ubud, 1-2 hours is enough for taking pictures, feeding the monkeys & relax in... More

There are so many workshops and galleries, you could shop for days. We preferred stopping at more rustic places, not the tourist traps with high prices. But the variety of work is staggering. We often bargained getting 40% off items.

Just loved Ubud, would have liked more time to poke around. Markets were great, cafes the best we found in Bali and the art and culture amazing.
