A great day making our own batik fabric panel. It started with a detailed explanation of each step involved in making our own batik. Then we drew out our design, there were lots of samples to help or to use if you didn't want to draw your own. Whilst we were drawing it out one of the staff drew a... More

My sister and I did a batik class here, and loved it. From the explanation of the various processes, the trial piece of batik to allow practice, and the very helpful & patient staff (I had lots of questions)....the class could not be faulted. They even did the 2nd wax on my work to allow for more detail. Came away... More

Absolutely brilliant. I even had opportunity to do a double wax layer. Learned so much. Lovely people and there were a few others who were pros working on other items to watch also . Suitable for beginners right through to artist wanting to try batik.

Took a batik class here. I really enjoyed learning how to do batik. If I had a chance I would take a class here again.

We spent 7 hours creating our batiks, a detailed Ganesh and a Buddha. Komang walked us through every step of the process and helped us as much as we wanted. Batik is harder than it seems. They were all very friendly and we left with two batiks we really love, it was a highlight of our trip.

I would fly back to Bali just to take another workshop with Widya. We ordered lunch from a local restaurant, and... More
