Made Westi, the co-owner of the shop, guides herbal walks which might become an unforgettable experience not only for herbal lovers, but also for everyone who is interested in historical and cultural features of Bali. His shop is a gold-mine of pure organic cosmetic and natural medicine, and his sister in law is one of the best professionals in massage... More

This walk was about more than just herbs--animals, plants, history, culture, religion. Our tour guide/the owner of the business couldn't have been more helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. We stopped at his shop at the end of the tour, and stocked up on all kinds of great souvenirs for incredibly low and reasonable prices. A great experience all around!

We didn't actually go on any of their guided walks, but visited the shop, which we have been to in previous years, and which we always make a point of heading for each come we come to Bali. It is a real treasure trove of natural "lotions, potions, and powders", that are beautifully packaged, and are great to take home... More

If your looking for something a bit different to do in Ubud, both the Herbal Walk and the Jamu making class are both worth considering. The walking tour takes you from the central of bustling Ubud into a rural delight in a very short distance to learn much of Bali's traditional rice growing life, herbal medicine, and natural health and... Made, our Herbal Walk guide was outstanding. Walking with him for about 1.5 hours over the rice fields of Ubud and getting so much information about the agriculture, the way of living in Bali and much more. The tour ended in the Herbal shop with a complimentary herbal tea offering.Fantastic attraction for travellers visiting Bali!

Great people and very well informed, We did a walk and visited the place where the products are made. The walk was fascinating and the production facility was staffed with wonderful, helpful engaged people. Go on the walk on a cool day if you can and take a class on making herbal treatments

This morning walk was well worth while. The whole trip (walk, drink and v.isit to herbal shop) took over 4 hours. We had a great time not only walking through the rice fields, but also learning about the mentality of balinese family life. It was very interesting to hear about their belief and community.Totop it up we visited the herbal... More

Being a teacher myself, I know how much the class depends on teacher's personality and knowledge. I couldn't wish for a better teacher for my jamu and natural cosmetics class. Rikha is such a lovely, cheerful and patient person - you gotta love that girl! As for jamu - I got addicted - I make it every week now. I... More
