Please take the time while in Ubud to walk the rice fields with Dewi. She is the daughter of farmers and also college educated so her knowledge comes from both her heart and mind. This young woman is seeking to create a business that pays farmers better for their hard work while educating visitors about traditional balinese farming. Bali culture... More

We had a very pleasant and interesting walk across the rice terraces in the North of Ubud. Westi gave very good explanations of both, the local flora and also lifestyle and traditions in Ubud and Bali.

My daughter & I attended the Jamu class by Lilir and it is something not to be missed if you are interested in exploring Balinese beauty secrets. We enjoyed the class very much. It was very practical and we had so much fun with not only Lilir but also her 2 assistants Citra & Mira. All of them could speak... More

Take a 3 hour stroll through the paddy fields, learn about plants and trees, Enjoy a young coconut whilst overlooking the paddy fields. Escape the busy streets and beaches. Relax and do something different.

Husband and I hadn't taken appropriate footwear for the full nature walk but booked the Jamu class instead which was great. It cost Rp 500,000 for 2 people which was excellent value for the 2 hours. We made 4 different herbal products and as the staff spoke perfect English we were able to find out a lot about the culture... More

We learned of this attraction from Lonely Planet and sent an email the night before to request a reservation. Made (the owner/guide) responded immediately, instructing us to meet him in front of the Luksian museum at 8:30 the next morning. There was only one other couple who had booked that day, so the four of us set off on our... More

Walking down the street we were saying in Ubud, we came up a small herbal shop with a sign in the window advertising Herbal Walks and Jamu class. We signed up and attended the Jamu class that very afternoon and were delighted! For two hours, we were introduced to the magical properties of plants used in Ayurvedic wisdom and how... More

My husband is a naturopath in Australia and I thought it was just going to be another day. I enjoyed listening to Debbie's experiences and her life in ubud. The 3 hour tour went quickly, liked the coconut milk and the stop at the shop. Thanks for a great time.

Lilir the woman who owns this business took a group of 6 of us on the walk. She teaches Ayurvedic medicine at a university in Denpasar and was so knowledgable. Great English, very patient and friendly. Every plant is used in so many ways, and she explained all. We also learned about the Balinese subac (rice terrace system), and saw... More

We actually never did the tour, just wanted to advise all to arrange your own transport and book your tour from Ubud. We were offered transport by the company (from Legian), the driver was an hour late, the condition of his car, made it a two hour trip to Ubud (he did not speak english), to then be dropped off...
