Auntie Puspa and her staff knows how to run a cooking class, and provide you standup comedy at the same time. We were taken on a tour of the local market in the morning and were shown spices, fruits and other ingredients. The market was bustling and colourful. Not for cleanliness freaks, this is a wet market, get over it.... More

This was definitely one of my favorite experiences in Bali. After a little tour of the Ubud market getting schooled on the many varieties of fruits, spices, meat, etc, we made our way to the private residence of Puspa. Once greeted by her entertaining hubby with a delicious, refreshing drink and given an introduction of what to expect for the... More

Our family went to the class together. We had so much fun working together to cook a delicious lunch. The pace of the class was great. We always had something to do or eat but never felt rushed or bored. The teacher and her husband were so humorous. I loved how she called everybody 'honey'! My 12 year old daughter... More

I must say that if you are a professional cook or really serious about cooking, you might be disappointed as the class if... More

Met some other friendly travelers and had a great time :) highly recommended. Can't wait to try out the recipe book that we brought... More

Great service great food and great hospitality. My partner and my friends went to the morning session. Started off with a kind driver who picked us up. Went to the market which he explained and let us taste some fruits. Than off to the cooking place which was also the owners home. Very beautiful house. We were welcomed with a... More

The cooking class is a great experience in Ubud. Great class structure- a short trip to Ubud marketing -> rice field -> welcome drink/ short-break-> cooking! The host (sorry I forget her name) gives very clear and precise instruction yet keeping the class at a very relax and enjoyable experience. The staff are all very helpful. The class is easy... More
