I would recommend this cooking class, a lovely learning experience held in Lalapun Village just outside of Ubud. The day starts with a free pick up & a friendly smile. We were then taken to the markets where we were guided throughout with plenty of photo & shopping opportunities. We then drove to the village of our host via quick... More

We were glad to have chosen Paon Bali cooking class. The morning visit to the market to learn about the various ingredients was very educational. As the cooking school was near to the paddy fields, we also get to learn about the different types of rice grains. The kitchen was clean. The teacher and also the owner was humorous. We... More

It was an agreable afternoon learning and preparing a great variety of local food. If you go in the morning they will take you to the Market for buying the ingredients, what I understand, will make it even better experience. I just loved it, and have the recipes to try it at home... but of course, being at home I... More

Honestly, this was the best thing myself and my girlfriend did in Ubud, and it's cheaper than most of the other classes which is a bonus. We did the morning class, which included a market tour and explanation of the system used in Bali in the rice paddies. Both of these were great, and the class itself is exceptional. You... More

Me and my partner, we did a cooking class today and we absolutely enjoyed it. Everybody spoke perfect English. The kitchen itself was very clean. The dishes were tasty and unusual. After preparing the meal we ate with a beautiful view of the jungle. Each dish was explained thoroughly and in a fun way. There was a lot of food... More

We found this tour off a Google search and were like "hey, why not?". Completely glad we did. My friends and I were shown are the markets, a rice field and most excitingly - food! We helped with the prep, had some good laughs and had a fantastic time. I was nervous to try "new food" I don't usually eat... More

We did the morning class with tour in Ubud market during early morning. The entire 4-5 hours tour are well organized and w are completely satisfied with our experience (including our 3-year old daughter). We had the opportunity to prepare a 7-course lunch under supervision and some help. For our session, there's a total of ~25 people, which is a... More

My wife set us up last minute for this class. At first, I was a bit skeptical of going to a cooking class, but I was extremely surprised... The setting is beautiful, the class is fun, and the teachers are wonderful. Auntie Pushpa really makes you laugh and teaches you a lot of the basics. You meet a bunch of... More

The reviews before mine say it all. Puspa, Wayan and their fabulous staff made our morning interesting and fun. From the spotless cooking areas, fresh ingredients and Puspa making us all laugh, I would do this course again. The course is held in our hosts' home, in a cool, green village just out of Ubud.
