We were lucky enough to enjoy the hospitality of Puspa and her family in their home on Tuesday 28th July and it was the most incredible authentic experience I have he in Bali. The food we cooked was delicious and loved the touch whereby they gave us recipe books to take home so we could try the fishes out back... More

The coordination was amazing. Everyone got little chores. And staff finished up dishes so the meal all got completed at once and well. We cooked local dishes including basic sauces and broths that form the basis of the cuisine. The hostess was fun and added personal stories to keep the instruction light and interesting. We got recipes to take home.... More

Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and couldn't fault it! Started the day with a tour of the food market with explanations and realistic prices to pay. Transported in air conditioned people carriers to the family compound. Greeted with a refreshing drink and a brief explanation of Balinese culture. Extremely clean with stunning views. Made 10 dishes collectively. Plenty of drinks... More

This was an outstanding experience and definitely appeals to the kinesthetic learner. We chopped, sliced, sautéed, stired and ate multiple dishes. The owner of the Villa we stayed at recommended this class and it really was worth the time and money. Don't hesitate to book it!!! Already planning our cooking back home.

My husband & I have taken cooking classes across the globe. This was one of the best! They were catering to both vegetarian & non-vegetarian. Everyone got to participate the entire time. It was a true immersion in Bali culture - beyond just food. I'm somewhat of a germaphobe and they had everyone wash their hands before cooking & use... More

Everything is great with Paon Bali. Perfectly organized for the visitor to be comfortable and enjoy the time there. Everyone involved has a perfect smile and the class is made so those interested on cooking can learn and those who are just company can have a fun time. It's a great way to discover Bali's traditional meals.

We booked a cooking class through the online service provided in Tripadvisor and were billed for the full amount + transportation fees. After receiving no further information we called them only to be told that the class was "fully booked" and that the next available date was after 4 days when we had already left Ubud. After multiple phone calls... More

We booked the class a month in advance but it wasn't too crowded, only 4 couples in total. We were so glad we chose to do this on our first day in Bali as it was an ideal introduction to the food and culture. Hotel pickup and drop off was included. We were first taken to the food market in... More

We loved our cooking trip - we started with an interesting and informative trip to the market with Wayan our guide. This was followed by a brief stop at a rice padi field where we learned about rice growing. We then went to Puspa's kitchen where we met the extremely charismatic cook and her helpers. We had great fun cooking... More
