ShangriLa Spa in Ubud, Bali has become known as THE best massage spa in Ubud (some say all of Bali). Here is one person had to say on TA. We are SO coming back [to ShangriLa] (I think we might even come back to Bali just for this).

This Spa is not the cheapest in Ubud, but it is the only place I would recommend you go! We booked a 'Spa Package' that cost around £28 per person for 4.5 hours of spa treatments! It was so relaxing that both myself and my anti-spa boyfriend fell asleep more times than we can count, and he is now a... More

This place excels for their low prices (one hour Balinese massage is around 10 USD) and the professionalism of their therapists. The place is small and they divided it with curtains to form several compartments. The therapists are professional and friendly. They cover you while performing the massage, and will move out while you're undressing, which doesn't happen in all... More

Fantastic massage - probably the best we´ve had in Indonesia. Clean and professional, altough there was a lot of giggling when our 7 year son should get a full-body massage. Prices were good as well, not the cheapest but best value-for-money.

Tried this place 3 times and then referred a friend the fourth, but the final experience showed that our feedback wasn't considered important as the same therapist gave the same disappointing reflexology massage. But try it for yourself and be inquisitive about the qualifications of your therapist because our experience indicates they are hiring quickly to keep up with demand,... More

My boyfriend and I spent ages searching for a good spa in Ubud, and finally settled on Shambala (known as Shangri La when we visited in April 2015) because of the many good reviews. We chose the full package, consisting of a full body Balinese massage, facial, foot reflexology and manicure. As this was my first spa experience, I found... More

My boyfriend and me really enjoy the massages. Good ambiance, affordable price, friendly staffs. We had a good experience there. I want to give credit to the staffs there as my boyfriend left his hand phone in the spa and we came back only few hours later to claim the hand phone. They are very honest and return the hand... This is my favourite spa in Ubud. There is something about the billowing orange and pink curtains that welcomes you into Shambala Spa. I had a facial with a lovely man, Rama - really relaxing and excellent. You can get cheaper but for the money ($12 for a facial) you get a peaceful, clean environment. Highly recommend.

The last time I was there it was called Shangri-la spa and it was amazing. While in Ubud last week, I went back to this spa and noticed the name change. My friends and I had a massage there and it was AMAZING, the service, the decor, the attention from the staff....everything is perfect at this place. We went back... More

The 4.5 hour package at this spa is AMAZING and such great value. Everyone should do it! My boyfriend also had it and he loved it. I have never felt so relaxed and pampered as after this spa. Wayan and Tini both gave incredible massages. I'll be straight back there next time I make it to Ubud!

Cannot fault this place at all. The staff are warm, professional, well trained and kind. The place is clean and down a quiet alleyway. After your treatment a beautiful ginger tea and fruit plate are given to you.. Delicious. The massage and reflexology were great, as was the pedicure! Great value for money with a deposit needed and tax included... More
