ShangriLa Spa in Ubud, Bali has become known as THE best massage spa in Ubud (some say all of Bali). Here is one person had to say on TA. We are SO coming back [to ShangriLa] (I think we might even come back to Bali just for this).

This place is a true gem. From the moment you enter the spa to the moment you leave, you feel on top of the world! I was in Ubud for 7 nights and I went there 4 times. I am a regular from years back. If you are in Ubud for a day or more, make sure you book a... More

I had the 90min Balinese massage, with Widi as my massage therapist. It was absolutely wonderful. The room is clean, spacious, nicely decorated and even though the stalls are only separated by curtains it still feels very private. The massage was great! Very thorough but also relaxing. Afterwards you get a cup of fresh ginger tea and some fruit. Would... More

Great New Year's Eve indulgence for us :) $60 au for '4.5 hrs' (read 3hrs 45mins) spa package. The sound table that you lay on whilst they strum underneath and get the vibrations going is a great way to start. Not the strongest massage,, but not soft either. For what you pay, this is a lovely high standard.

This was mis second visit to the spa after coming here two years ago when it was Shangri-La. I booked in with my sister in law so we could have the 4,5 hr package which is about $50 and worth so much more! Imagine what you would pay in Melbourne for a Balinese oil massage, reflexology, salt scrub, head and... More

Both my husband and I got massages at Shambala spa. We had to make an appointment at least a day in advance as they were booked the first time we tried to go. From the moment we stepped inside, it was a peaceful and relaxing experience. The masseuse was strong and hit all the right places. The pace of the... More

The massage we 've had in this spa was amazing. Beautiful music on the background and the masseuse had magic in her hands ;-)! I was far a way in paradise...

I decided to try Shambala Spa after trying a couple of the cheaper places on Monkey Forest Road and only having an ok time. I'm so glad I tried Shambala. I effectively went from paying £3 (60,000rp) a massage to £6 (125,000rp), which is still amazingly cheap, and got a far better, more professional and relaxing experience as a result.... More

Excellent location at Jalan Monkey Forest, nearby many eateries. We asked our hotel concierge to help make an appointment since they are usually fully booked even on a weekday. Requested a different massage from the one we booked and they were ok with it. The Lomi Lomi was good, recommended for those who prefer more pain with their massages. Wonderful... More
